Welcome to THE MAYBERRY HIDEAWAY an exquisite retreat nestled near McAllen TX! THE DOME at The Mayberry Hideaway is a memorable & uniquely elegant geodesic dome home that offers a tranquil escape into a world of eclectic charm and comfort, where every detail has been meticulously crafted to provide you with an unforgettable stay. We have day passes available to access a communal swimming pool, pickle ball/basketball, beach volleyball, fire-pit & picnic area. Day passes subject to availability The space At THE DOME, guests have access to the entire dome home during their stay. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious king size bed, and the gorgeous master bathroom is a sanctuary of indulgence with a standing tub and double vanity. The second bedroom provides guests with a full bed and twin bed. A queen size Murphey bed in the living room is also available for guests. The spacious living room is ideal for guests to come together to spend quality time with one another and create lifelong memories. Guests will find a modern and spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances, electric stove, island seating, a dining room, & high-speed Wi-Fi. A private outdoor space is also available at THE DOME. AMENITIES UPGRADE: We have day passes available ($20 per person per day) to access a communal swimming pool, pickle ball/basketball court, beach volleyball court, fire pit & picnic area. (Day passes are subject to availability – please contact us to confirm availability) GUEST VISITORS: Because The Mayberry Hideaway is home to 4 different houses it is likely that 4 different groups of guests will be on the property on any given day. For this reason, guests may not invite visitors (anyone who is not on the reservation) to join them during their stay. --> If you would like to reserve The Warehouse (a private meeting room) to welcome additional guests for a specified time, please contact us for further details. *** KITCHEN: The kitchen has a stainless-steel stove, refrigerator, and island seating. It also has a microwave and Keurig coffee maker along with general small kitchen appliances. You will find the basic cooking essentials in the cabinets including salt & pepper, olive oil, dishes, and silverware. Long term stays are expected to purchase their own supplies if they run out. BBQ GRILLS: A charcoal grill is on the property available for guest use. It is located in the private backyard outdoor area. RESTROOMS: The restroom will have toiletries including body soap, shampoo, & conditioner, and hair dryer. PETS: The Mayberry Hideaway is pet friendly. We welcome you and your pets. Please make sure you add your pet to your reservation as a pet fee will be added for each pet. This will allow our team to be better prepared for your stay. THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The studio resides on a 2-acre property and there are 3 other homes on the property. SECURITY: For the comfort and safety of our guests, the Mayberry Hideaway has cameras along the permitter. The 2-acres property is also completely fenced in. The fully fenced spacious backyard is perfect for pets and children. PRIVATE OUTDOOR SPACE: Outside THE DOME you'll find your own private retreat, where you can fire up the grill for a delightful outdoor dining experience. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit and enjoy the warmth of a crackling fire under a starlit sky, creating memories to last a lifetime. Enjoy the hot tub in the private outdoor area as well. Each home has its own private outdoor space. There is also a private amenities area on the property that includes: a pickle-ball/basketball court, a beach volleyball court, several picnic tables, a large fire-pit, grill & grilling space, and a large swimming pool. The private amenities area may be reserved for private events during your stay. Access to the communal amenities requires a day pass, priced at $20 per person per day for each registered guest. Passes can only be purchased for the total number of guests listed on the reservation and are subject to availability.
