Lovely room in Didsbury with own bathroom

A lovely bedroom in a beautiful home in Didsbury. It has a double bed, armchair, workspace, kitchenette, and bathroom for your own use (outside bedroom). The house is convenient for public transports (train, tram, bus). Close to cafes, pubs, cinema, shops, restaurants, and parks. Would suit single professionals and academics who attend conference or business at University, Christie Hospital, Towers Business Park, Manchester airport, and city centre. This also would suit those in between homes. The space The bedroom is situated on the first floor of a newly renovated house in Didsbury. The room has its own key for guests' security. There is a comfortable double bed with fresh linen, a workspace with a large desk & a chair, and with ample access to power points and internet. The bedroom also has an armchair and a coffee table where guests can sit and relax. The kitchenette is inside the room for private use of the guests. It has a mini fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, kitchen utensils (including ones for microwave cooking), plates, bowls, cups, glasses, and cutleries. The bathroom is outside the bedroom, but just across it. The bathroom is lovely and dedicated for your own use (no one else will share the bathroom). It is a full bathroom with a bathtub, double showers over bathtub, towel heater, toilet, a mirror, and a sink cabinet which provides ample storage. The bathroom can be locked from inside. Guest access Guests access the bedroom through the main house. You can store your shoes in our cloakroom. I can lend you our slippers for use at home. We often work from home in our ground floor open plan kitchen/dining/living room, and chill out in the evening here. So, this space is for our private use only. However, the bedroom where you stay is large, has sitting area with comfortable furnishing for you to enjoy and relax. You can prepare your meals in your own kitchenette with microwave. Guests may use our washer/dryer on a weekly basis. The machine is placed in the utility room on the ground floor. During your stay My husband and I are at hand to help with any queries or information regarding the guests’ stay. We often work from home, but in the occasions when I work away in the office (which is 15 min drive from home), I can be contacted through texts, phone calls and emails. We are happy to provide help with directions or local information, and are here to make your stay comfortable. Other things to note Parking: The house is on a quiet road with free on-street parking. Cleaning: For longer stays of more than two weeks, we have cleaners who come fortnightly to keep the place nice and clean, and to change your bed linens and towels. Breakfast: Guests should supply their own breakfast, but initially cereal/oat, milk, coffee, tea and sugar are provided. Nearby, there are supermarket and store to buy groceries. Our favourite local cafe also serves lovely breakfast, nice coffee, and fresh orange juice. Public Transport: The place is well-served by convenient and extensive public transport including trains, trams, and buses - their stations fall within a radius of around 10 minute walk. The train station has frequent schedules to the international airport and the city centre, taking less than 15 minutes either way. Beyond is the tram station, offering trips to the city centre and to more than one football stadium that Manchester is famous for. Several bus routes connect the place to Christie Hospital, university campuses, the Royal Infirmary and the city centre. PLAB course in Levenshulme is a short bus ride away. From the place you can walk to village cafés, pubs, a cinema complex, supermarket, local stores, restaurants, and botanical garden. Please note that other paying guest may also stay at my place. The other guest will stay in another room on the 2nd floor (your room is on the 1st floor). Each guest will have their own kitchenette and bathroom, so none of these facilities are shared among different guests. Please be considerate with other guest. We don't have a suitable place to securely keep a bike, e-scooter, or e-bike. Please kindly note that our home insurance doesn't cover fire risk associated with charging e-scooter or e-bike.
