Step into our charming 19th-century tiny house, lovingly restored from ruins once owned by the wealthy Shumski family. Enriched by history—crossed by Napoleon, scarred by two World Wars—this lakeside retreat invites you to a nest of nature. Encounter deer, bunnies, and foxes in the yard. In summer, relish garden delicacies and immerse yourself in the historic farmhouse atmosphere. Unearth the past through memoirs left by the first hosts, embracing the timeless charm within these walls. The space Once an elementary school, this farmhouse stood abandoned for three decades and found new life in 2021 when a young family bought it to preserve its rich history. The 35m2 house underwent careful restoration—foundation reinforcement, fixing war-damaged corners, and a new roof. Old materials, like roofing tin and clay tiles, were repurposed, adding character to the living space. Wooden beams narrate history while supporting the loft. Other things to note Important Information: Limited amenities: No WiFi, water supply, or sewage system. Biotualet is provided, and limited water is available during winter. The second floor has enclosure but the stairs lack handrails, not recommended for families with small children. The bedroom mattress is inflatable, allowing guests to adjust the firmness. Extra twin mattress available. The building in front (an abandoned school under renovation) is lockable; access must be coordinated with hosts. Lake regulations: Fishermen must have permits. The shore may be muddy; special footwear is recommended (two pairs provided in the tiny house). Guests with pets will sign a special agreement.
