To recharge your batteries with family or friends, come and stay in this 175 m2 architect's house, sheltered from view, located in the heart of the Estuary region, halfway between Royan and Bordeaux, on a large 4000 m2 wooded garden, fully fenced, with a secure swimming pool. Please note that linens (bed and bath) are not provided. You must return the house in the condition in which you found it (possibility of a maintenance package and renting sheets: see details) The space If you plan to host an event, we would like to be notified. An additional package will be considered. For your stay, we have a handbook with all practical information about the house. You have 3 closed bedrooms, one on the mezzanine, and additional sleeping accommodations (4) in a large reading lounge, which are distributed as follows: - a master bedroom with a 160-cm bed and its own bathroom with a walk-in shower - one bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a small private terrace - one bedroom with two 90 cm beds, ideal for children Each room has storage. - a mezzanine bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a futon (120 cm) above a second living room (24 m2) with two additional beds: a sofa bed + daybed (which makes a very large bed: provide a large flat sheet to make a bottom sheet or ask us) and a sofa bed (130/140 cm). This room is furnished as a reading and relaxation area, with two bookcases. It has air conditioning. There are also toys and books for children, as well as a stationary bike. This large room can be ideal for a couple with children or for bringing together children / teenagers, so that they have a slightly separate area. An umbrella bed is available on-site. Ask us for the mattress. The house has a bathroom, two toilets, a large living-dining room of over 40 m2 with an alcove, ideal for gathering, a separate entrance and a separate kitchen. This is a secondary house that we live in from time to time, so you will find some personal belongings that we ask you not to use. The kitchen is equipped: coffee maker (plunger and nespresso capsules), kettle, toaster, induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, as well as all the basic equipment (pots, dishes, salt, pepper, oil, etc...) There is also a pantry in which you will find an oven, a washing machine, the fridge with its small freezer, a bread machine, a blender, an ice maker. You can enjoy the outside thanks to a large terrace equipped with an electric blind, an outdoor table, outdoor furniture and a barbecue (provide charcoal). The pool has its own terrace and sunbeds. A ping pong table is available for your use. Also available: iron and ironing board, hanging rack, belts, pillows, duvets, blankets, mattress protectors, pillow guards. Mattress guards and pillow guards should be covered with your sheets. Duvets must be put in your duvet covers. All bedding kits (sheets) and towels (toilet and bath) are available on-site but they are an option. They are not included in the price; an additional pricing will be added if you would like to use them. Ask us. However, for logistical reasons, for short stays and groups, including summer, you'll be asked to plan your own. The "cleaning" fee applicable systematically (60 euros) covers maintenance and concierge (welcome / exit, house, swimming pool, tidying up, restocking of basic products) and not cleaning. You must return the house to the condition in which you found it and therefore ensure maintenance (you have everything you need on site). We insist on this. The house is large and it is important that all the rooms that have been occupied are cleaned upon your departure, so that the next guests find a clean and welcoming place. Otherwise, we offer different maintenance packages (cleaning). Ask us. We do our best to make the house welcoming and make guests feel good there, thank you for respecting the premises; we improve thanks to our guests throughout the rentals. Guest access All living rooms are accessible, except for animals that are only allowed in the kitchen and entrance. Only one room is closed to store personal belongings, as well as the garage and boiler room. Other things to note There are plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and outings. Close by for a walk along the Estuary: the port of Callonges is 7 km away, the port of Vitrezay 10 km away. 10 min from the A10 motorway exit. 50 min from Royan, 1 hour from the Zoo de la Palmyre. 20 min from the Antilles de Jonzac and its thermal baths. 50 min from Cognac. 20 min from the citadel of Vauban de Blaye, from the ferry to reach the Médoc and its vineyards. 25 min from Bourg Citadel and its splendid panorama. 1 hour from Bordeaux. For children: Terres d'Oiseaux ornithological park 10 min away; Mystera Park in Montendre; the castle of riddles in Pons; Natéa Park in St Savin.
