Location, Location, Location! If you are looking for furnished housing for your family in the the historic, walkable, and very-livable Village of La Grange - this is the place for you! This 3-bedroom 2-bathroom home in an amazing In-Town LaGrange location is perfect for your temporary housing needs. This house is exclusively an extended-stay rental for stays of 60 nights or longer. It works well for families renovating a home, moving into the area, or in town on a temporary assignment. The space THE KENSINGTON BUILDING: This a classic Chicago-Style brick 2-flat with two identical residences (1st and 2nd floor). You will have the entire second level unit to yourself. There is shared basement (with laundry), garage and backyard patio area. The building is located on S. Kensington Ave. (68) in the Historic District of La Grange. It is just a short walk to downtown La Grange (2 blocks). Your host (Kevin) owns this entire property and owns and manages Guest Nest Furnished Stays. We can accommodate 2 cars. One of which can be parked in the garage and the other parked in the driveway. There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement (shared with host). This 3-bedroom apartment has been fully renovated. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a small ensuite bathroom with full-sized shower. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds. The 3rd bedroom has a Queen bed. The 2nd bathroom has a full sized tub and shower. There is an eat-in kitchen. There is also a dining area with a dining table. THE GUEST NEST WAY: We own and manage all our buildings and we manage the Guest Nest Lodging business. All our listings have been updated and renovated including updated kitchens and bathroom. We supply the apartment with fresh and comfortable bedding and linens. We stock the the kitchen with everything you will need to prepare a meal and to use regularly during a long-term stay. We provide a smart TV (Roku) and high-speed wireless internet. We can periodically provide fresh linens and towels. Guest Nest maintains a management office nearby and we are available to assist you when needed. THE GUEST NEST PORTFOLIO: Guest Nest Furnished Stays has 30 fully-furnished rentals in Villages of Oak Park, Forest Park, La Grange and River Forest. Each of these historic villages have long been known as great places to live. We have 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and a few studio apartments. We also have one 3-bedroom 2-bathroom residence (LaGrange). Each apartment is fully furnished including the kitchen. Each comes with 1 parking space and we can sometimes accommodate a 2nd car. Some of the units have in-unit washer and dryer. Otherwise we have a laundry room in the building. Most of the apartments have a dishwasher. On a case-by-case basis we will allow pets. Since we only do rentals of 31 nights or longer, these units are priced at our best monthly rate. Guest access You will have the residence all to yourself. We will provide instructions for access to the apartment via a lockbox which will be available 24/7. Other things to note *The apartment is on the 2nd level which requires 2 half-flights of stairs to access the unit (indoor with handrail and a landing at the top of the first half-flight of the staircase). *There is a dishwasher. The washer and dryer is in the basement and is shared with the other unit. *Free parking is available on the property (two spaces). One car can be parked in the garage if requested. *Pets are welcome with pre-approval (contact host) Note: Stays of 30 days or longer avoid the following Taxes: State of Illinois Hotel Tax of 6% Cook County Hotel Tax of 1%
