Take it easy at this unique & tranquil getaway. Located in Siskiwit Bay right on this very sandy beach of Lake Superior. A private path from the cabin will lead to a pristine walk out shallow beach. See Romans Point, Siskiwit Bay Marina and Eagle Island from the very front of this floor to ceiling view! This 500 square foot cabin is neat and compact & newly remodeled. This is one of the best stretches of beaches the area has to offer. Over 200 feet of owned shoreline for you to enjoy. The space This 3 acre seasonal property sits right on Siskiwit Bay. Wooded with giant red pines all around the cabin. The cabin itself was built in the early 60s and has been remodeled into a compact & efficient modern feel. The giant floor to ceiling windows look right out to Eagle Island & Romans Point on Lake Superior. To the front side of the cabin is bog/wetland with some of the areas coolest carnivorous plants and wild blueberries on the walking path to the beach. Right after the sand dune sits the “singing sand” beach! Please note: there is no source of central forced air heat. We have a fireplace (main heat source) and space heaters. They do keep the place plenty warm. Guest access Entire cabin, bog area & walking path, entire beach. Other things to note This cabin is seasonal and is heated with a wood fired fireplace along with space heaters for extra chilly nights. If you are not comfortable maintaining/using the fireplace please do not use it for safety reasons. Air bnb will send you check in instruction 24 - 48 hours before your stay, you will need to check your email or your app for the information. Wifi and service can be very spotty in the northwoods, know the info before you go! If you cannot reach me on the app try text as the cell service will at times get a text, but will not allow app to function. The walk from the beach to the cabin is very fine sugar sand. You will want to rinse off outside or brush the extra sand off to avoid having it in the cabin on the beds and on the furniture. Please be respectful of other people’s beach property. If you are walking the beach you must be down in the water where the sand is wet to avoid trespassing on others property. Blueberry Lane is privately owned parcels up to right before the marina where there is some county property.
