Airy Guest Suite - Dog-Friendly!

This spacious private basement suite is perfect for visitors looking to find a clean, comfortable place to stay during their time in Colorado Springs. Our house is centrally located and close to shopping, restaurants and parks. Enjoy the beautiful Colorado Springs evenings by the firepit or on the bench swing on the private outdoor patio. The space is perfect for couples, friends, or families and dog-friendly. We would love to host you! The space The entrance from the outdoor patio to the main living area is through two large glass doors that let in lots of natural light. In this primary living space is a sitting area with a Roku TV, a dining table and chairs, a coffee bar, and a separate area with a queen bed and workspace. Down the hall is the primary bedroom with another queen bed, closet, dresser, and Roku TV as well as a full bathroom. Please note that we have two small (and sometimes loud) children running around on the floor above. They are usually in bed by 8pm and we try to keep things quiet until 8am, but if you enjoy sleeping well past 8am on weekends, this might not be the best option. There are also the occasional sounds of the furnace turning on and off, so if you’re a light sleeper, you may wish to bring a source for white noise. We have provided blankets and space heaters but we’re also more than happy to adjust the thermostat as needed. Please don’t hesitate to reach out during your stay for any reason. We want to make sure you’re comfortable and have an enjoyable trip! Guest access You will have the entire basement to yourself as well as an outdoor patio area that is separated from the rest of the yard by a fence to keep our fluffy golden retriever from greeting you with too much enthusiasm. (But you're welcome to say hello to him if he happens to be outside!) There is a parking spot for you in front of the smaller garage door as well as street parking. The gate on the right side of the house will take you to your private entrance. There is a sidewalk with a slightly steeper grade and two steps to get to the back. If you need help with your luggage please reach out before your arrival so that we can make plans to assist you. The basement is separated from the rest of the house by a locked door.
