This detached cottage sits within the rolling Worcestershire countryside within steps of the Monarch’s Way footpath and a few minutes walk to the famous Tardebigge flight of locks. Completed in March 2024 this gem offers carefully designed spacious open plan living oozing style and sophistication. The light floods into this property and the expansive windows and french doors allow far reaching views of farmland and the local church. Yet it remains only moments from key place's of interest. The space This detached Cottage (with an allocated parking space) sits adjacent to the main house, our home office and timber garage. Our house lies in 10 acres of land and the Cottage enjoys 360 degree views over open farmland. It is important to reiterate that the Cottage accommodates 2 adults. We accept no group gatherings. It has no facilities for young children/babies. However, after discussion we may be able to accommodate a small family. You have access to your own lawned area, small patio and outdoor chairs. The Monarch’s Way footpath is only 100m away and for canal enthusiasts, the Tardebigge flight of locks, forming part of the Birmingham to Worcester Canal is approx 1km away. The prestigious Blackwell Golf Club is less than 5 km away as is the renowned Bromsgrove School. Within 1km we have a local pub and restaurant and a craft centre in the adjacent village. (For an additional cost our electric car charger can be used). Our wifi is via a Starlink satellite dish and hence much faster than that otherwise available in the area. This property is contemporary, clean and calming. There are no steps to enter the property and the key box is found to the right of the internal door. The Cottage is 84 Square metres in total area. Downstairs is open plan and you will find a kitchen area including microwave, hob, oven and cooking accessories. The lounge section has a TV, CD player /radio and the dining table extends to offer work or eating space. The ground floor also enjoys a wet room with electric shower, w/c and sink. An under-stairs walk-in storage/utility area provides a washing machine, ironing board and iron. Once upstairs you will enter the huge bedroom with a super king-size bed with linen duvet covers. Further, there is an antique pine wardrobe together with a seating area enjoying far reaching open views through the twin ‘floor to ceiling’ rear windows. A small en-suite w/c and sink sits over the stairs. Our children have grown up and left home but we do have friendly dogs and resident sheep. The location is unspoiled so you can often see wild deer, hares, rabbits, buzzards and our cheeky heron.The stars here shine brightly. Guest access Guests can access Cutford Cottage, their attached garden and the public footpath.
