The Great Barn

The Great Barn stands central to the courtyard and faces south, making the most of the natural sunlight and overlooks our private valley of orchards and wildflower meadows. A spacious entrance hall and living area is adjoined by 2 ensuite bedrooms secretly lit by the original arrow-slit windows. From the entrance hall ascend the stone spiral staircase leading to the dramatic split-level open-plan living/dining/kitchen and third ensuite bedroom. The space Surrounded by 50 acres of wild flower meadows and Perry pear orchards set in our own secluded private valley close to the Malverns, Forest of Dean, Wye Valley in the peaceful countryside of the Wye Valley, close to the Malvern Hills, the Forest of Dean and the cathedral cities of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford, the barns are perfectly placed for trips out and beautifully designed for relaxing days in. Take a dip in the heated limestone-clad pool contained within an oak-framed building with walls of glass, guaranteeing open panoramic views across the ridge line. Watch the sunrise, the storm clouds gather or gaze at the stars. The fully heated indoor pool is shared with the other barn and is available for use by guests, free of charge – we even give you some dressing gowns so you can sashay across with style!
