Cabin in Plymouth

Loon Cove Cottage is nestled on the shores of beautiful Round Pond! This quintessential Maine cottage is loaded with charm and is a peaceful retreat from everyday life. Tucked away at the end of a quiet road, this lovely haven offers the privacy and serenity you are looking for. The cottage is tastefully decorated and stocked with the essentials. Watch the loons glide by at the water's edge and savor breathtaking views from the expansive deck. Enjoy your coffee in the inviting screen porch. The space The cottage is a cozy and inviting oasis! The main living space is open and very comfortable. There is a double sofa bed in the living room as well as a double futon. Each bedroom has a queen bed and room darkening drapes. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of storage space. The kitchen is stocked with all of the essentials for your stay. Water is provided for drinking and cooking. Outside you will find a large deck that connects to a sweet screen porch. There is a brand new Weber grill and plenty of seating on the deck. The yard is spacious and very private. There is a wooden platform at the water's edge that connects to the dock. A perfect place to sit and watch the wildlife! The new firepit sits right out near the water. Toast s'mores as you watch the sunset! Three kayaks and a canoe allow for lots of exploring on the pond! There are plenty of life jackets available. Turtles nest on the property and there are several resident loons. You may also see eagles, deer, rabbits, ducks, and other pond critters. If you fish you can expect to catch bass and white perch. The property is conveniently located near I95 and area trails. It's 15 minutes from Newport which has shopping, restaurants, and a laundromat. Bangor and Waterville are 30 minutes away. The Moosehead Lake and Bar Harbor regions are just 1 1/2 hours away. Belfast and Bucksport are just under an hour. Guest access All areas are accessible to guests. There is a locked cabinet in the shed room that is not accessible. Other things to note This is a seasonal cottage with lake drawn water and a full septic system. The water is fine for bathing. Ten gallons of drinking and cooking water is provided. Please bring additional water if you expect to use more than that. Extra pillows and bedding located in the closets. Cushions for outside deck furniture are located in the black storage bench on the deck. The black trash bin on the deck is for returnable bottles and cans only.
