The cabin is inside gardens, yet just two kilometers from shopping, restaurants, bars and the lake Arenal public park. You will hear and see birds, monkeys, and our dogs. You may roam the gardens, bananas, papayas, oranges, lemons, yucca, flowers and regenerating forests. The property is surrounded by very large tracks of both pasture and open space for trekking. The house has Fiber Optic WiFi internet (90 Meg asynchronous), a large bathroom with huge picture windows looking out upon the gardens, and endless hot water. The main room is your kitchen, living room, and sleeping area. The kitchen has gas stove, refrigerator, dishes and pots and pans. And sharp knives ! There is a nice comfortable office working area. Doors and windows are screened and the air flow is excellent. For extra guests there is an attached room with a double bed and extra space. This is a perfect retreat for someone working on their computer who wishes quiet. Our guests also use this as a base to explore Arenal Volcano, Tenorio, Monteverde, La Fortuna and other touristic destinations. The host lives on site and can assist with knowledge of the area and settling in. The farm has a gardener and you will be treated to fresh fruits in season. We are ten minutes from Lake Arenal, Costa Rica and one hour drive to La Fortuna. The town is called Nuevo Arenal not to be confused with la Fortuna. Guest access Guests can roam the property, onsite secure parking for several vehicles, bathe in the spring, watch birds, dream. Other things to note The road is rock but is in good condition and is easily traveled with standard vehicles. Must love dogs.
