Killiney Hill Lodge - Rumbling Bald Resort

Welcome to Killiney Hill Lodge at Rumbling Bald Resort. If you are seeking a quiet retreat nestled among massive boulders, this is your ultimate mountain destination. We are located above Rumbling Bald Resort, a 5 minute drive to all amenities; including Swimming Pools, Golf, Pickleball & Tennis courts and Putt-Putt Nearby you can also find great outdoor adventures including Hiking trails, Ziplining & ATV Rentals. You will have access to the whole house and property. The space When you walk in the home, you’ll be greeted by amazing views from the airy and sun filled living area. In the family room, we have Wi-fi, Smart TV, Alexa speaker, and a working wood burning fireplace. Bedrooms Our house can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. The main bedroom, located on the lower level, has a queen size bed and attached full bathroom, consisting of a walk-in rain shower. The second bedroom sits across from the first. This is furnished with a full size bed. There is a full bath next to this bedroom that has a tub/shower combo. A loft room upstairs sleeps 2 on a twin trundle bed. Linens and towels are supplied. The beds will be freshly made and there are bath towels, hand towels and washcloths for each guest. Please only use these for their intended purpose. Kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped with all new major appliances, complete with coffee maker, filters, electric kettle, toaster, blender, cutlery, utensils, dishes, glassware, pots, pans, bowls, cookie sheets, hand mixer, cutting boards, and a pantry. Laundry Room There is a washer/dryer, iron, ironing board and vacuum for your use in the laundry room. Outdoor Space We have a gas grill, dining area, and a wood burning fire pit. Feel free to explore the boulders at your own risk. Amenities We provide each guest (up to 6) with a guest pass to all the resort amenities, including the beach, tennis courts, horse shoes, basketball, corn hole, a lap pool, a lazy river pool, and the wellness center, which houses the fitness center, indoor pool and spa.. Some amenities cost a small fee, such as golf (there are 2 championship courses!), tennis and pickleball racquet rental, mini golf, kayak and boat rentals. There are also 3 restaurants inside the resort. Please note: *Guest passes are required to use the amenities. The cost of replacing a pass that is lost is $25 - please return all passes at the end of your stay to avoid this. *Rumbling Bald offers summer camps for kids - this is a separate fee that needs to be arranged with Rumbling Bald resort. Nearby Activities There are also a number of fabulous hiking trails within the gates as well as a short distance away, like Chimney Rock Park and Hickory Nut Falls! Or stroll the streets of downtown Chimney Rock, which is about 20 minutes away, or take the scenic drive to amazing Asheville, or Hendersonville. Visit Burntshirt Vineyards along the way!
