Welcome to our unique family-friendly home in the middle of Scheveningen just 400 meters from the beach! Enjoy our sunny garden with built-in BBQ, wood-fired hottub, lounge and trampoline for the kids. The house is very comfortable and stylish with old hints of the former traditional fisherman’s house. The open kitchen overlooks the lush garden and the living room has a huge lounge sofa around the wood stove and TV. With 3 bedrooms it is suitable for a big family or two couples with kids. The space Our 126m2 three layered house (ground floor, souterrain & 1st floor) with 88m2 garden stands in one of the coziest and child-friendly streets of Scheveningen. You can park in the street (with our parking permit), often in front of our house, or anywhere else in the neighborhood. Groundfloor When you open the door you enter the hallway where you will reach one of the bathrooms (shower & toilet), very convient after a long day at the beach. Then you enter the living room with a huge lounge sofa to relax with the whole family and watch some TV (Netflix) and/or enjoy the wood stove during a (cold) rainy day. At the back you find the sunny open kitchen, overlooking the garden, with a big dining table for 8 people and all the necessities you need (as well as the washing machine and dryer). Open the doors and decide to have a drink at the terrace or enter the garden below! Garden In our lush private garden you will experience the perfect combination of many sunny hours and enough shade. At the back of the garden is a sitting corner around the built-in (charcoal) BBQ. Next to it you find the wood-fired hottub, which ofcourse can also be used to cool you down during a hot summer day (without heating it). For the kids there is a trampoline and enough toys to play with. Souterrain From the garden you can enter the souterrain via a hallway (or by stairs downwards from the living room). Our souterrain serves as a very comfortable guestroom with an ensuite bathroom (shower, single sink and toilet) and play room for the kids. Also a small workplace can be found as well as a library full of books (Dutch & English) to be borrowed while staying with us. Another big TV (Netflix) is mounted on the walls for those moments to relax. 1st floor The 1st floor you can reach by stairs upwards from the living room. Here you find another sunny terrace to dry your clothes naturally or enjoy the full sun. Next is the kids room with a sturdy bunk bed (with 2 comfortable cold foam matrasses of 90x190cm) and enough books (Dutch & English) to read before putting them to bed. At the other side you find the other bedroom with a kingsize bed. In between the bedrooms is the main bathroom with shower, bath with jet streams, double sink and toilet. Other things to note Please consider our lovely neighbours (with the majority also having young kids).
