Home in Staithes

Just minutes away from the pubs, cafes , shops this old fishermans cottage has a perfect location with sea views from every room (frosted glass in bathroom!) and it's own parking space right next to the cottage. Seconds from the beach, watch the fishermen bring in their catch, search the rockpools , hunt for fossils or watch for dolphins and minke wales out to sea, maybe with an ice cream in your hand. Relax into Staithes time!! The space Park your car next to the cottage and unload at your leisure. As you enter the cottage the first room is the lounge, a cosy room with two sofas and a dinning table and chairs. There are electric radiators throughout the cottage but also a multifuel stove for cosy nights in! (Please note fuel is not provided for the fire) Also a smart tv with freesat, selection of books and free wifi. One step down leads into a well equiped kitchen with double oven, hob, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer etc Off the kitchen is the bathroom with bath, heated towel rail, wc, basin and electric shower over the bath. On the first floor is a large bedroom with king sized bed looking out to sea. There is also a wardrobe, dressing table, set of drawers and bedside unit. Under the bed you will find the travel cot. The other bedroom on this floor has bunk beds and a set of drawers. A narrower stair case leads up to the attic bedroom. Taller people will need to duck their head to enter the room but it's worth the effort! Three windows give panoramic views across the harbour and out to sea. There is a double bed, dressing table, cupboard and hanging rail for clothes. It's a lovely cosy and light room with stunning views. There is a small enclosed outside area with table and seating ideal for al fresco dinning or just watching the world go by. Guest access The whole cottage and parking space for one car is available to use. Other things to note Bed linen and towels are provided but beach towels are not. Smoking or vaping is not allowed in the cottage. Dogs are welcome but are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture. Fuel is not provided for the log burner. Charging of electric vehicles is not permitted ( doing this will terminate your booking and you will be asked to leave immediately)
