Cozy charming retro house with large "English" garden. Located in a quiet village 6 km from the beach, 4 km from Cap Blanc Nez and the Côte d'Opale, not far from the highway, 9 km from the Eurotunnel and 8 km from the center of Calais. The shopping center is 2 km away. The ideal base for hiking, biking, motorcycling, culture or a day at the beach! Bedding and towels as well as cleaning are included in the price. The space The semi-detached building on a total area of 760m², including a large English garden, is located on the Côte d'Opale, near Cap Blanc Nez. Ground floor: - Driveway with space for 2 to 3 cars - Small front garden - Toilet - Living room of 25m² - Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, 4-burner gas stove, full oven and microwave - Veranda, with dining table for 6 people and bar furniture for 4 people, which opens onto the garden. - Front room suitable as a double bedroom (only open when booking for +4 people or on request) (sofa bed). - Fenced garden 1st floor: - 2 bedrooms with storage space for clothes in the hallway for each. - Bathroom with walk-in shower. (NO TOILET on 1st floor) Outbuilding: washing machine + drying cabinet (only available with a reservation of at least 1 week or on request) The house is located in a quiet village centrally between 3 regions. In the north, you go towards Calais, Dunkirk, Lille... In this area, you will find the famous estaminets where you can eat well, many traditions such as the giants who go out at regular times, the local festivals and braderies/brocantes, nice festivals, in short: a step back in time. Towards the coast, you get the fantastic landscape of the Côte d'Opale. South of Calais, you will see the first chalk cliffs (Cap Blanc Nez). On the winding road between Calais and Berck, you will find picturesque villages, chalk cliffs, sandy beaches and pebble beaches. The tourist road along "le litoral" is well worth it even by car. Nausicaa, the aquarium in Boulogne sur mer is highly recommended for young and old. If you go more inland, towards Saint Omer, you get "les marais". The marshes around Saint Omer can be visited with kayaks and small boats. Saint Omer is 60 km away. Do not drive on the highway, but take the hilly smaller roads to enjoy the fantastic scenery. Guest access The ground floor is fully accessible. (front room on request) A washing machine (in the outbuilding in the garden) is available with a reservation of at least 1 week or on request.
