Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. Much of the Finger Lakes area is within a short ride. You will have access to many wineries, lots of hiking trails, Watkins Glen International Race Track, historical sites and several colleges. Beautiful gorges, waterfalls and parks are in abundance. There is something that will appeal to any visitor. The space This apartment is a ground floor apartment with 2 steps up onto the porch before entering the apartment. The rest of the unit is all on one level. There is off-street parking for your use. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, baking pans, a blender and a coffee maker. It has a small dishwasher and a washer and dryer set for your use. The bedroom has a comfy queen size bed. There is a wardrobe with a bar and hangers for hanging up your clothes and baskets for your folded clothes. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower unit and a separate heater in case you like to step out into a warm room after a shower. The living room is equipped with a desk area for those who might be traveling for business. It has plug-ins for USB built into the desk. The couch is a futon which can be opened up to make a full-size bed for an extra sleeping area. There is a TV in the living room as well as in the bedroom. They are connected to WiFi for streaming your favorite shows. A cable is connected to each TV in case you want to connect to your laptop and broadcast onto the big screen or bring your favorite gaming device. There are USB plugs on all the lamps so you will have enough places to plug in all your devices. This apartment is centrally located to many of our state parks, waterfalls, etc. You are a 3 minute drive to the Watkins Glen State Park Gorge. You are 20 minutes from Elmira and 30 minutes to Ithaca. You are a five minute drive to Watkins Glen International, (but it will definitely take you longer on race day!) Our hope is that our place is a convenient, well-stocked, comfortable place to stay while exploring the beautiful Finger Lakes area. Guest access The entire apartment is for your use. There are two utilities closets that are locked but all else (including the laundry unit) is for your use. There is a deck adjacent to the front door of the apartment that you are welcome to use and there is off-street parking available. We ask that you park in the spots closest to the road to give access to customers of Sidle Insurance who shares the parking lot with us. Other things to note This unit does not accept guests that smoke or pets.
