Heaven Tucked Away

Take a deep breath and find yourself relaxed on our mini farm . The garage apartment is secluded,quiet and yet minutes from so much to enjoy. Whether you need time away from the hustle and bustle or in town for an event, it is the perfect space to relax. We provided a small simple kitchen with microwave and mini fridge, wifi, pool table to unwind, coffee area, arcade game and tv . The room is very much like a studio apartment so there are no divider walls other than the bathroom. Super cozy! The space This space is more like a studio apartment… there is NO divider among the bedroom and living area… the bathroom of course is private. This space does NOT have a full kitchen… it has a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, we provide water bottles and of course has a sink with running water. You may visit anywhere on the farm , please be aware it could be muddy so bring shoes for this . We welcome kitchen scraps for the animals ( pretty much anything but onion related products) they love treats! Guest access The apartment is upstairs above a garage with a small balcony overlooking the property. Other things to note We are a working farm on 12 acres and occasionally you may hear noises such as mini highland cows moo-ing , a rooster crow, donkey bray, pig noises, goat calls,dog bark or horse noises. There is often construction going on to improve the farm facility. The apartment is above a garage, you may hear activity at a minimum down below you… but during your stay it will be used at a minimum. There is heat/ a-c for the comfort of our guests. Hot water is supplied by a small tank , showers are limited to 10-12 minutes before needing to heat up. Lots of sofa space ( powered by electric) to relax. There is a Queen size bed and a daybed for sleeping. A large TV for you to enjoy. PLEASE bring boots or outdoor shoes if you decide to visit the farm animals… our road is a private ( no outlet) road so it is ideal for walks, often we take a walk to the dairy farm across the road . The apartment lights ( outside and window candles) are on a timer so they should automatically turn off around 12 midnight. During the summer months we will have the pool open, it is not near the apartment but you are welcome to use it during the day.
