TubA Art House - Residence for Tourism

On March 28, 2024, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Turkey issued a “TOURISTIC RESIDENCE PERMIT” numbered 10-1-1. The space Our historic stone house features 5 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and 1 kitchen, and can accommodate up to 8 guests. The house is located on Cumhuriyet Street, which runs parallel to Atatürk Boulevard, in the center of Ayvalık. It is only 80 meters from the sea and within a few minutes’ walking distance to Ayvalık bazaar and town center. As Ayvalık is an old historical city center, the streets are very narrow, and some streets are not accessible by car. Due to this, finding parking in the area can be difficult. The house does not have a private parking space. Paid parking lots are available nearby. Our mansion is a registered historical building, and its original architecture has been carefully preserved. With high original ceilings, wooden doors connecting the rooms, and wide corridors, we offer an authentic historic house experience. Due to the age of the building, there is no modern sound insulation. As the house is centrally located, sounds from pedestrians or people taking photos on the street may be heard in the morning hours. Bedroom No. 5 does not have air conditioning. Guest access Our historical house has entrances from two different streets. Our guests will enter and exit the house through the door on Cumhuriyet Street. The door on the Maresal Cakmak Street side will be closed for use. Other things to note House Rules This property is officially registered as a "TOURISTIC RESIDENCE", therefore all guests are required to declare their identification information to the security units' KBS (Identity Declaration System). Guests must present a government-issued identification document (Turkish ID card or passport) upon check-in. Entry to the property is prohibited for individuals who have not been declared during check-in. Administrative penalties may be applied if this rule is violated. Smoking, drug use, or engaging in illegal activities within the building premises is strictly prohibited. Security cameras are installed to monitor entries and exits within our property. Guests should be careful going up and down the stairs. Our stairs to the 2nd floor are steep, please pay attention. The stairs to the roof are not used for safety reasons.
