All the electricity is generated by onsite solar panels helping your trip towards carbon neutral. 100m from the Swiss border and 300m to the number 6 tram, you can be in the heart of Basel in 20 minutes The space There are 3 double bedrooms in the 130 square meter accommodation, each with a queen sized (160 x 200) double bed. Each room has its own air conditioning unit to regulate the temperature to cool down or warm up your personal environment as required. On entering the property you will walk into a separate hallway which acts as a cloak room. This opens into a generous sitting room and an open plan area to the dining and kitchen space. The bedrooms follow the original lay out of the stables and you will be enchanted by the original curved stone ceiling and iron work throughout. There is a single bathroom combining modern shower and toilet facilities. There is a dedicated outdoor space for guests of 150m2 with a large fire pit, an outdoor dining area and an area to practice your boules. Theres a 20m2 cover available and lighting should you want to enjoy a meal after dark Guest access The property is a single level following the plans of the original stables. This is beneficial to those with mobility issues. The stables are all yours and the kitchen comes fully equipped with four ring induction plate, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Cooking materials are provided. In addition there is a Nespresso machine with a supply of capsules to deliver your early morning coffee. Other things to note Electricity for the property is generated onsite via an 18kwh array of solar panels so your stay will be entirely supported by cleaner energy for the duration. Parking is free as is the ability to charge an electric car should you bring one.
