When you arrive, store any sports gear in the attached garage, enter the well thought out mud and cubby area to keep things organized, throw on the laundry or make use of the powder room. The main floor has a master bedroom with full closet and ensuite with custom built shower and bench. Down the hall, enter a grand living area with a fireplace, FrameTV and unobstructed sweeping views of the mountains, open to the dining area and gourmet kitchen. Generous and comfy seating surround the gas fireplace and you can easily sit 10 at the dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped, spacious with a large island that sits three for company while cooking. The downstairs floor is a walk out built into the hill, has an open recreation room area with large screen TV, desk, three bedrooms, a full bathroom and second half bath. The main bathroom has a soaker tub with shower and the second a full sink area. Two bedrooms each have a Queen bed and the bunk room has a custom two Queen, 2 single beds to sleep up to 6 kids or grandkids. This home can sleep up to 10-12 comfortably. A short walk (750m, 8-10 mins) to the base of Red Mountain Resort with some of the best North American skiing and cat skiing. The home is situated seconds to the entry of Blue Elephant, Redtop and Centennial Trails, leading to network of 200K+ single-track track mountain/fat biking trails. You are also a short drive to Black Jack Nordic ski centre with 45K+ groomed trails. Strawberry Pass and Seven Summit trail with its network of hut to hut skiing, biking or hiking, is a short 10 minute drive. The home is located a short 5–10-minute drive to historic downtown Rossland that offers great shops, restaurants, a local brewery, Hooper’s Bakery and well sourced Ferraro Foods for all your grocery needs. Guest access The rental is for the main house. Entrance is via keypad located on the right hand side of the garage (under the patio) directly into the mudroom. Guests have access to the garage to store skis and bikes with parking for up to 3 vehicles limited to the driveway. The large driveway is shared with a separate one-bedroom apartment underneath the garage, with full-time tenants. Please note the full-time tenants have access to the garage, so please be respectful of the belongings/space and always lock up. The tenants also have two reserved parking spots on the right hand side of the driveway (i.e., away from the garage). Access to the tenants suite is via the outside left hand side of the garage. Renters should not access this space.
