Cosy Northumberland cottage with stunning views

Welcome to the grounds of our favourite place on earth - our home! You will be staying in our stunning country garden cottage - If you are looking for a charming quiet place in the Northumberland hillside to be a base for walking, cycling our exploring the beauty of our area. We are 15 mins drive from the coast, a few minutes' drive from Morpeth and surrounded by towns like Alnwick. Sit back in our wonderful cottage on the top of our hill and put on the log burner for that cosy feeling. The space Our stone cottage is situated in the gardens of our home. We have recently refurbished the cottage, ready for our guests. We have paid loving attention to giving it a contemporary country style. As we come closer to the best time of year, we will ensure the cottage is full of Christmas cheer, enchanting and cosy. If you are looking to spend December and the festive period surrounded by the country side, in front of the fire playing board games and watching the best seasonal movies… this is a retreat away from home to unwind. What’s not to love! The Cottage is sharing our 4 acre garden but we wont be overlooking each other and it will feel a tranquil paradise. You are surrounded by rolling fields. The Cottage has its own grassed garden overlooking our paddocks. For summer evenings you have your own stunning outdoor table, parasol and seating on the patio nearby to watch the sunset. You have a fire pit and bbq to cosy up and watch the sunset in style. If you are lucky then sometimes we have deer roaming through the fields and array of birds. We are a minutes walk to the nearest country public footpath through the fields and nearby woodland. Our cottage is situated all on one floor, so it makes it perfect for everyone. Upon coming through our front door, you will be welcomed into a spacious open plan kitchen, lounge and dining table. The kitchen is a cream shaker style, with a beautiful green breakfast island. It perfect with the lighting for chatting over a bottle of wine and cooking. The lounge is situated just next to our log burner and TV for the perfect open space. We have two decent size bedrooms with high comfy beds just along the quaint hall. Each room has mirrors and space to store your clothes as we aim to make you fall in love with our newly decorated space. We have kept the bathroom shower room a little separate from the toilet so it can accompany all means of guests with ease. Our shower is a walk in shower. Around our home is some inspiration to get you ready for exploring around Northumberland and we have placed little suggestions in the cottage which you shouldn't miss. We have added some compact deck chairs, wind break in our cottage for you to use at any beach days you may want to get out an explore. Please feel comfortable to ask us anything? There is no question big or small as we are new to this.
