Located in the heart of Bonne Bay Pond. Perfect for relaxing or enjoying outdoor excursions on groomed snowmobile trails or ATV trails. Explore the many back roads leading to scenic treasures by hiking, cycling, cross-country skis, kayaking, hunting or fishing and meet some friendly locals. Only a 1 min walk to the beach and 5 min drive for gas, liquor & convience store. Conclude the day back at the cottage with family or friends filling it with laughter & memories. The space The cabin is centrally located between Deer Lake and Gros Morne National Park entrance with about 15 mins drive to either. It has year round access with parking. Accessible by vehicle, snowmobile and ATV, etc. There are two bedrooms with closets and hangers, one with a queen bed and the other a double. Plus a sofa bed (pull out couch) in the living room. Equipped with all the amenities you will need for sleeping and cooking, just need your own food. Shopping can be done in Deer Lake which is 15 mins away. Some popular excursions include site seeing in Gros Morne, biking, swimming, boating, snowshoeing trails and snowmobiling back country to Western Brook Gorge or Lomand Sinkhole. It's only 15 mins drive from Deer Lake airport. It's called Taboggan Hill because it was where we grew up sliding. Guest access Guests have access to all of the cabin and can drive up to the door. Notifying the estimated time of arrival is appreciated and the access code will be given prior to arrival. Other things to note No wifi available. Equipted with Satelight TV. Limited cell coverage in the area but the cottage has a good cell booster. There is a hot and cold drinking water dispensor. Coffee, tea, milk, butter and condiments are provided. Currently the hot water tank is a little smaller and we recommend groups of more than 2 to stagger their showers. Hoping to have hot water on demand installed soon. Equipted with Satelight TV.
