Our hotel, rooms and bungalows have a rustic and authentic design. The property is over 30 years old and combines natural materials and finishes that reflect their vintage character. This is INTENTIONAL and part of the the experience we offer. BEDROOM FLOORS: Glass floor over 30 years old. They are COMPLETELY CLEAN and Well maintained. It's normal for them to have small chips. or micro-cracks on the edges of pieces or discolouration due to the passage of time, are not dirt, are not food or drink stains, but are wear and tear. This doesn't affect security or functionality. ROOMS WITH TERRACE AND PLANTER. The terraces are swept daily; however, due to the wind and the coastal breeze, leaves can fall off at any time and sometimes in large quantities. Leaves on the room's terrace do not constitute dirt and cannot be considered a reason for cancellation. POOL AREA AND LINING: The cladding is Venetian-style Vitroaseo. Due to exposure resistant to chlorine, heat and normal use, it is common for some parts have occasional flaking. This is aesthetic and has no effect safety. Parts are replaced regularly. The pool is also vacuumed and cleaned daily from 8 to 9 am. As our pool is in a 2,000 m2 landscaped area with all kinds of vegetation, including mature palm trees, coconut palms and other species with lots of flowers, it's normal for leaves to fall into the water during the day. We constantly try to remove them, but strong winds or rain make it impossible to keep the surface or the bottom 100% free of vegetation. The pool isn't dirty; it just has leaves in it. AIR CONDITIONING. All our rooms have air conditioning. In normal operation, the air conditioning units can maintain a stable temperature of at least 24 degrees Celsius, even on the hottest days. This temperature is considered standard in the hotel industry and is sufficient for the vast majority of people. If you require air conditioning at a lower temperature, we're probably not the right choice. If our rooms maintain a stable temperature of 24 degrees, you cannot request a cancellation or refund due to a lack of cooling. We have thermometers to check temperatures. RUSTIC WOOD FINISHES: There are rustic wood finishes around the pool area natural that are decorative and part of the design. The wood is preserved natural to preserve the authentic character of the bungalows. They're not 'unfinished' — that's the property's design philosophy. CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT: Precisely because of the building's age and our commitment to constant improvement, we have a maintenance team that carries out improvement work on all the facilities. We try to minimise any inconvenience by only working from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm and, as far as possible, keeping materials and workers out of sight and/or contact with guests. Outside these hours, there are no works or repairs of any kind.
