Built in the 1800's, this one-of-a-kind cabin sits tucked away on 6 secluded acres just south of Columbus. It offers a unique blend of outdoor adventure, total privacy, and proximity. Outdoors enjoy our state of the art hot tub, sauna, and complimentary canoe and kayaking adventures - details below! The space You'll drive up to the cabin and park just in front of a quaint bridge over a babbling brook, and know that you've arrived in a wooded playground. Walk across the bridge toward the cabin and see our fire pit to the left! Do you like s'mores? This is one of a number of add-on packages we offer at Cozy Bear, we'll be happy to provide everything you need! Also check out our state-of-the-art Serenity Retreat, featuring a 4-person hot tub with waterfall, back and foot jets, and a sauna that is Bluetooth capable and has infrared technology! Open the door to your 1800's cabin, which features all the modern conveniences you'd expect. You're encouraged to unplug here in the welcoming family room, though there is also a TV, a chest with plenty of board games for the whole family, and seating areas. To the left, find the primary queen bedroom, with quilted bedding and charming views of the property. Remember we mentioned add-ons? We can grace the room in a heart of rose petals and a bottle of champagne, if you wish, and let you take all the credit! The main floor also features a spacious kitchen and dining area, with K-cups and a Keurig, fully stocked pots, pans, utensils and all you need to make meals! Though we are historic, all of our appliances are brand new. :) You'll also find a fully redone bathroom with generous double vanities, walk-in shower, and complimentary conditioner, shampoo, body wash, and everything you need after a long day exploring. Upstairs, you'll find two twin beds which also have pull out twin trundles below, allowing sleeping space for up to four additional guests! This is definitely the perfect hang out for kids, or kids at heart! Additional games and plenty of room to let your imagination run wild are here! In our opinion, the main event is our 6 acres out back. This cabin is located around the corner from Battelle Darby Creek, a state-recognized parkland protecting the beautiful and ecologically significant watershed. Guest access There are a total of 6 acres on this property, boundaries will be marked with trees where possible, but as long as you don't cross the creek behind the cabin, you'll be within property boundaries. Although this cabin is secluded, please be mindful that there are residential neighbors in the area although you might not be able to see them.
