Mill Cottage Garden Studio a cosy haven nr Melrose

A tranquil open-plan studio in historic Newstead, just 1 mile from Melrose and 2.5 miles from Tweedbank Station (with trains to Edinburgh in 50 mins). Set in a peaceful garden at the foot of the Eildon Hills, it’s perfect for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. Enjoy morning birdsong and the gentle clip-clop of horses on the nearby bridle path. Great for exploring local heritage, scenic walking routes, and St Cuthbert’s Way. Bag drop-off available for walkers (message for details). The space The garden studio faces a large private garden next to Mill Cottage (the main house). It's part of a new building with its own private entrance and parking. The garden studio apartment (one open plan space with separate bathroom) is in the same building as the owner's (Jane!) garden office/workshop. The property is not suitable for pets. There is a small kitchen with microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine and fridge. I don’t have cooking facilities but it’s ideal for breakfast and light meals. Guest access Mill Cottage Garden Studio has its own private, secure entrance. Other things to note Check out time is 11:00am and check in time is 3pm.
