This Studio Apartment is a great alternative to a hotel room at a fraction of the cost! The Sunrise Trail is walking distance, and downtown Machias is a ten-minute car ride away. If you just need a bed and a shower, this is your quick stop. Coffee, a small refrigerator, and a microwave are also provided. The space The apartment is located on the lower level of my home. My dog and I reside on the upper level. On my property are two friends. One lives in a tiny house and one lives in a camper. We are a quiet bunch, but also friendly and happy to chat with you if you see us outside. 😊 Guest access Access to the apartment is through the garage side door. In the summer months, please leave enough room for the riding lawn mower to get in and out. The towels do not dry well hanging in the bathroom, so there’s a foldable drying rack you can set up in the living area. Or, if I am home, I’m happy to throw it in the dryer for you.
