Here’s how to get to the apartment from Brindisi Salento Airport, the closest airport to Otranto (approx. 95 km away). By Car (approx. 1h 30min) • Exit the airport and follow signs for SS16 / SS613 towards Lecce. • Continue on SS613 for about 35 km until you reach the outskirts of Lecce. • Before entering the city, take the Tangenziale Est towards Maglie / Otranto. • Merge onto SS16 heading to Maglie and continue for about 50 km. • In Maglie, follow signs for Otranto via SS497 or SP48 (depending on local signage). • Once in Otranto, follow directions to the city center. • Via Idrusa 37 is close to the center — a GPS or local signs will guide you easily. By Public Transport • Take a shuttle or taxi from the airport to Brindisi train station (approx. 15 min). • From Brindisi, take a train to Lecce (approx. 30–35 min). • From Lecce, take a regional train to Otranto (limited service — check Trenitalia for schedules). • Once in Otranto, Via Idrusa 37 is a 10–15 min walk or a short taxi ride from the station.
