Green cottage with pool 40 minutes from Paris

Relax in this charming, quiet accommodation, which invites you to regenerate in the heart of a comfortable eco-home (swimming pool, gym, etc.) on the edge of the St Jacques de Compostelle hiking trail and on the edge of the Rambouillet forest. It is a duplex in our family building, completely independent, with fiber, a shower room, a Queen Size master bedroom, a 4-bed dormitory, + a sofa bed in the living room, tables, chairs and kitchenette @lapasserelle The space WARNING! Quiet place, no parties or for more than 3 children. For rest only. You are in a schoolhouse with strict rules of calm and sharing of the outdoor space (since we live on site and the cottage is attached to our house and the place is made for rest and leave the biodiversity alone with ecology). You enter the cottage through your own front door and arrive in a cathedral living room of old beams and beautiful eco-renovated stones with a small kitchen (for small or cold meals, a single plate, no oven, a small fridge without freezer...) and dining/rest or teleworking area (with fiber), including a coffee table that rises to a dining table/desk and several folding chairs. You also have a sofa bed in this area. A staircase leads you to a mezzanine opening onto 3 spaces: the first, a dormitory space with 4 beds (or 5 if a mattress is requested on the floor or umbrella bed) then at the bottom a master bedroom with 160 cm bed and an ensuite bathroom. You have access to the 3000 m2 of wooded and flowered garden of your hosts, with outdoor swimming pool (under weather conditions, from May to September) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., deckchairs, shed - gym, permaculture vegetable garden, many species of fruit trees... and especially the forest of Rambouillet and the great hiking trails at the end of the garden. Board games, books, tourist guides, welcome booklet listing nearby shops, restaurants, walks and visits 20 minutes from the Château de Maintenon and its golf course, 10 minutes from Rambouillet (château, park, sheepfold), 30 minutes from Chartres (cathedral and historic district), 40 minutes from the Château de Versailles and 50 minutes from Paris Note: no pool rental by the day or garden rental for events. Bookable time slots. No parties or loud noises, and even more serenity requested between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. The school is reserved for relaxation, rest and serenity, the surrounding biodiversity as well as the inhabitants. Strict rules of calm, sobriety and respect are applied. Guest access The guest house is ideally located on the edge of the forest for a real recharge and lots of nature activities around (lake, hikes, visit of Rambouillet within 10 km, TER 5 min to Versailles in 20 min or Paris in 40 min...). To come by train, TER to GAZERAN then taxi (or we can occasionally shuttle). By car, type the address and the GPS will take you there very easily. You will have a guest parking lot that is very easily identifiable from the street upon arrival, in front of a large school sign. On the other hand, there are no food shops within walking distance, so it is better to have a vehicle, or ask us for a table d'hôtes package. Please note, quiet place, no parties or big gatherings. Strict rules of calm, sobriety and respect are applied. As you are on a permaculture school (respecting life), we ask that you have the greatest respect for outdoor spaces, permaculture gardens, fruit trees, etc. In addition, children are welcomed on the site, and the pool and garden are shared with your hosts, hence the tranquility respected for all that is requested (no shouting, noise, etc.) Other things to note 2 Parking spaces in front of the property, "outdoors" Awning to shelter motorcycles and bicycles Breakfast not offered but coffee machine and kettle provided, with coffee, tea bags and herbal teas. Good bakeries, grocery store and agro-ecological farm 5 minutes away by car. On request, we can offer an additional kitchen service, with breakfast and dinner of organic, vegetarian and seasonal products, guided by the harvests of our vegetable garden when there are any. No smoking anywhere on the premises, even in the parking lot. A welcome guide to read is sent to you before (to avoid past unpleasant surprises) and a security deposit of €100 in cash is requested upon arrival.
