Outside, stone terraces and a wooden deck offer great places for alfresco dining and barbeques. The main courtyard is a wonderful sun trap. The space Coombe Farm for 8 guests in 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 wins) is ideal option for a medium group, offering the full range of amenities as for a group of 12 guests, including very spacious living area, fully fitted kitchen, dining room, living room and cinema, plus the pool and the freedom to explore that surrounding 64 acres of farmland, vineyards, orchards, and winery, with its café & restaurant and visitor centre. The accommodation for 8 guests is located within the main barn, plus the connected barn which offers one of the 2 large double bedrooms. The separate Cart Shed is not included with this option, and it will not be let to others during the stay. Guest access Guests have full access to all the facilities in the main barn, and the connected barn. The Cart Shed bedrooms, adjacent to the main accommodation will not be available but it will not be let either, so the property will remain absolutely private. Other things to note A major attraction of the Calancombe Estate is the Visitor Centre, 400m along the valley from the guest accommodation, where guests can enjoy the Estate wines, ciders, cassis and Dartmouth English Gin, all made on site. Additionally, there is an award-winning restaurant for lunch, afternoon cream teas, with sparkling wine. Private catering can be arranged too.
