The Defender 90 has two seats in the cab and comes with unlimited mileage and fully comprehensive insurance for one driver. Configuration: - There are two seats in the cab of this vehicle. - The rooftop tent is the size of a European Double bed - The rear of the vehicle is packed with expedition standard camp kit. - Note that this vehicle does not come with bathroom facilities. Campsites should be used. Kit includes: BEDDING & LINENS: Roof Top Tent with 4-inch premium mattress, waterproof mattress protector, bottom sheet, duvet or sleeping bags as you prefer, cosy blanket, and microfibre towels. All linens are fully laundered in between each hire. COOKWARE: Enamel set of 2 mugs, bowls and plates, 2 piece pot system, frying pan, camp kettle, washing up bowl, scissors, tongs, tin opener, sharp knife, silicone spatula, bottle opener, chopping board, cutlery, washing up sponge, team town, dish cloth, washing up liquid, salt & pepper, silicone pot grip, vacuum flask, tea/coffee/sugar, camping stove x 2, camping gas, matches & lighter, rubbish bags, electric cool box. GENERAL: Table, 2 camping chairs, drinking water canister, rubber mallet, shovel, air compressor, fire extinguisher, jack, jump leads, stool, 270° awning. CAMPING ESSENTIALS: 2 x head torches, lantern, hand torch, first aid kit, multi-tool, multi-charger, USB ports. Just bring yourselves and stock up with food when you get here! Many extras are available to enhance your trip, such as QuickPitch BBQ, Jackery Power Station, Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker and more. All hires collect and return from our HQ near to Inverness airport. We can recommend our local transfer company who offer preferential fixed rates to our guests. Collections take place between 9:00 - 17:00 Monday- Friday and 09:00 - 15:00 on Saturdays. Returns take place via key-drop out of hours or on Sundays. The rate includes unlimited mileage and fully comprehensive insurance for one driver. Additional drivers can be added for a flat fee of £30 each. Our hires run in 24-hour periods, eg 10:00 to 10:00, and additional hours can be added for £30 each Driver stipulations: - Minimum 21 years old - 2 years driving experience - Must be able to provide a copy of driving licence (front and back), 2 x recent proofs of address from approved list, DVLA check code if UK or passport if international. A damage deposit will be held on your card for the duration of your hire, which is equal to our excess on our insurance policy. This amount is £1500 as standard for those 25-70 but increases for younger/older drivers, international drivers and those with points on their licence (up to 6 max). The increased deposit is £2000. We can provide details of an excess insurance product to reimburse this amount should a claim be required. NOTE: Wild Camping does NOT apply motorised vehicles and guests must park in campsites overnight. Off-roading is not legal in Scotland. Guest access Hirers can utilise the entire vehicle and all of its accompanying kit. Other things to note Please make sure you understand the following: - WildTrax is not an offroading company and this vehicle is not to be driven off-road. Offroading is an illegal activity in Scotland. - Camping overnight must take place at campsites. This is a stipulation of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, Highway Code and Road Traffic Act. Scotland has some of the best campsites in the world to enjoy! - Drivers must be over 21 with 2 years driving experience and must be able to provide all required driver documentation at least 5 days prior to hire (unless booking within that window). - A card must be provided to take the damage deposit on the day of hire, which will be between £1500 and £2000 depending on the driver. - One driver is included in the hire, with additional drivers added at £30 each. - Unlimited mileage is included in this hire
