As the property has been newly renovated you have the perfect clean and modern style with cosy seaside décor to be your base as you explore the invigorating West of Scotland. It provides the ideal rest bite from the hustle and bustle of daily life, where you can relax, unwind and cosy up in front of the real log burning fire and take in that view. The home is located on the immediate shorefront with beach access in either direction. It lends itself perfectly to families or equally as well to groups of friends thanks to its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's conveniently located in the village of Kames, which is part of the larger town of Tighnabruaich, benefiting from a host of local amenities within walking distance of the property. The space The living space has plush new carpets, high ceilings with period features and the log burning fire, which creates the perfect spot to chill in front of the enormous windows with panoramic views over the tranquil waters. There is speedy wifi installed in the home and a smart TV located in the lounge that has all the major streaming services. In the summer months you will be able to watch the comings and goings of the sail boats from the comfort of the sofa's. Whilst in the winter the waterways are almost completely clear and unspoiled. If you are a morning person it is from here you can witness incredible sunrises, if you are more of a night owl you may be lucky enough to see the infamous Northern Lights, known also as aurora borealis. Guests can enjoy the fully equipped kitchen for all their cooking needs, this includes: fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric hob and oven, microwave and kettle. This space includes an extendable dining table with 4 chairs and 2 foldable chairs in the cupboard to seat 6 guests comfortably. The master bedroom features a King sized bed and benefits from the same awe inspiring views as the lounge. The other 2 bedrooms offer double beds allowing up to 6 guests to stay in total comfort. All rooms are complete with hotel quality pillows and bedding offering guests a restful nights sleep. Both bathrooms have been recently refitted and are kept spotless with their modern and clean look. They both have electric showers & the ground floor bathroom also features a bath. The lower gardens offer a place to dine alfresco and the upper landscaped area is the ideal place to enjoy a cuppa and watch the world go buy whilst listening to the flow of the small burn that lives within the garden. Guest access Tighnabruaich is less than 2 hrs by car to glasgow international airport or the City centre. It's the ideal base to explore the cowal peninsula or to venture further afield by hopping on a ferry and popping over to Kintyre or the Isle of Bute. The house is on the same street as the Kames hotel which features its own bar, restaurant and beer garden. This can be reached on foot in less than a minute so couldn't be handier if you don't feel like cooking for yourself in Greenwoods brand new kitchen. Further up the same road you will find the Kames village store and the award winning Tide & Thyme restaurant. Travelling to Tighnabruaich main street by car takes just a few minutes, here you will more options for eating & drinking as well as the local art gallery. An electric vehicle charger can be found just off Tighnabruaich Main Street. Parking at the property is on street and plentiful. There is a driveway which we share with our neighbours, it is only used for loading and to provide easier access to those with decreased mobility. The beach in front of the property can be accessed on foot in either direction in around 30 seconds, you couldn't be closer to the water. Locally you will find the award wining secluded Ostel Bay beach just a short drive from the property. World renowned Portavadie Spa is just 10 minutes away by car with its outdoor infinity pool, bar and restaurant. We allow up to 2 well behaved dogs to stay at the property.
