Other things to note 【Staircase】 Like many traditional Taiwanese homes, access to the third floor is via the original staircase. The staircase is narrower and steeper than those found in modern buildings. This is part of the home’s original structure and historical character. Guests with mobility concerns are advised to consider this before booking. 【Luggage Assistance】 If you have heavy or multiple pieces of luggage, we may be able to offer light luggage assistance when time and circumstances allow. This is a complimentary, non-guaranteed courtesy and must be arranged in advance. If needed, please inform us the night before checkout; depending on availability, we may assist in moving luggage to the first floor. Assistance is subject to same-day conditions. 【Smoking】 If smoking is necessary, please do so only on the balcony or outdoors. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Please ensure all personal belongings and food items are taken with you upon checkout. 【Kitchen Use】 As the kitchen does not have a window for ventilation, please avoid frying or cooking methods that produce heavy smoke. For reheating food, an oven is available for air-frying, steaming, or baking. A portable gas stove and various pots are also provided for simple cooking such as soups or noodles. 【Trash & Recycling】 For short stays of a few days, we can assist with trash disposal. If you are able to help with basic sorting, it would be greatly appreciated.
