The Forge is a delightful Cotswold holiday cottage located in the village of Luckington. This charming property with stylish interiors is the perfect base for exploring the South Cotswolds and beyond. The cottage features a high vaulted open plan living area, two bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms. It has its own enclosed garden area with seating and BBQ. There is secure parking available for 1/2 cars. The space Accommodation This spacious two bedroom property in Luckington, has been recently renovated to a high standard. The accommodation is laid out as follows: Kitchen/Dining/Living Room Generous open plan living area with high vaulted ceiling. Dedicated dining space for 4 guests, a cosy living area with 2 seater sofa, two occasional chairs and smart tv. The fully fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher and fridge with ice box, electric oven and hob, Nespresso type coffee machine with initial supply of pods, kettle and toaster. A welcome pack will be provided with a supply, of tea, coffee, milk and bread. There are plenty of books to read and board games for rainy days. The master bedroom is full of character with 5ft king size bed, wardrobe, pine chest of drawers and a dressing table with hair dryer. The main bathroom features bath with shower attachment, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 with kingsize bed (can be converted to two small single beds 90cm if required), a walk in wardrobe and chest of drawers and garden access. There is a shower room ensuite to Bedroom 2 with shower, sink and toilet. The Forge has its own outside space to the side of the property, there is a small flight of steps up to the seating area, with table and chairs for four people, a charcoal BBQ. There is a dedicated parking area for 1/2 cars in front of The Forge. We live nextdoor to The Forge so will be happy to help with any queries or questions about the local area. Guest access The Forge has its own parking space and self contained garden area. Keysafe available. Other things to note The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Events are not permitted at the property. Check in from 16.00 and check out by 10.00. This is a no smoking no vaping property. A short walk away is the charming village pub, The Old Royal Ship which also has a small shop for everyday supplies and papers. Sherston, a walk or short drive, boasts a pub (the Rattle Bone Inn) and two café’s, The Angel and The Courtyard Café, as well as a Co-Op and independent wine store. Luckington has been a favourite location for film makers notably Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice for the BBC, which used Luckington Court as Longbourn home of the Bennets. Badminton famous for the Horse Trials held each year is within walking distance. A little further away is Westonbirt Arboretum, a great place to visit for family and dog walks with activities throughout the year. Within a short drive are the charming market towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury both being worth a visit to explore their independent shops and cafes. Bath, Bristol and Cirencester are all within 30 minutes drive for more attractions and activities. A network of walks and public footpaths crisscross the fields and woods that make up the surrounding landscape, and the Macmillan way passes beside The Forge. The Wiltshire cycleway is also nearby.
