The space Our house is situated on a corner lot in the quiet neighborhood of Habart with undeniable stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, Purcell Mountains and the Columbia River. There is a shared fire pit as well that is fully operational as long as there isn't a fire ban. We have lots of space in our car port if you choose to bring your bikes and take advantage of our many biking trails. We also have space for a sled/quad/side by side trailer for those who want to cruise through our back 40! Please ask for more info on trails! It's soo much fun! 😊 We are located 15 minutes away from a well-groomed 18-hole Golden Golf course which has a putting green and driving range available. We also have disc golf and mini golf for those who enjoy the other varieties of golf. We are 25 minutes away from our popular Kicking Horse Mountain Resort where you will enjoy downhill skiing & snowshoeing in the winters as well as hiking & biking in the Summer and see Boo, our local grizzly bear :) Guest access There is room for 2 vehicles (back to back parking) or 1 vehicle & a trailer to park comfortablely on the right side of our driveway, there is also a part on our lawn that is available to park another truck and/or trailer upon request only. The guest suite entrance is through the carport. There is a set of green french doors on the right with the name of COZY COUNTRY MOUNTAIN NEST displayed above the door. Other things to note There is only my husband and I living upstairs. We don't have pets or children. We have gone through great lengths to soundproof our ceiling to create more privacy on both levels. That being said, you will hear our footsteps from time to time as we move around. We both have regular jobs that require us to be up early as well. We do our best with respecting noise levels as much as possible but please keep this in mind while thinking to book with us.
