Important Boating & Tide Information Boat access to and from the pontoon is tide dependent. Guests should plan to depart and return during the higher half of the tide to ensure sufficient water depth. The pontoon jetty dries at low tide, so boat engines must be trimmed up accordingly. For greater flexibility, the local boat ramp is only a few hundred metres from the property and provides better water access. If tides are likely to interfere with your preferred fishing or boating times, we recommend launching from the boat ramp instead.
