Situated on the River Avon, we have otters, king fishers and huge numbers of birds resident on the river. The space Our snug 1 bedroom property has been built to a high standard in 2024 and has direct access to the River Avon at the bottom of the front garden. There is a shower, TV and small kitchenette with Nespesso machine, kettle, toaster and mini fridge, we can aslo provide a microwave on request. The flexible bedding arrangements mean it is suitable for couples or friends with twin beds or a Super King. Parking is opposite with provision for 1 car. Nestled amidst 219 square miles of the breathtaking national park the Old Boat Shed offers endless opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone looking to unwind in serene surroundings. The Woodgreen Community Shop is also within walking distance. Just over a mile away lies the magnificent Breamore House, a stunning 16th-century estate. Explore its rich history with guided tours of the house and the fascinating Country Museum. Additionally, our retreat is the ideal stopover for guests attending weddings at this beautiful venue. During the summer months, a short drive takes you to the New Forest Water Park, where you can enjoy a range of water activities, including wakeboarding, kayaking, and the thrilling inflatable aqua park. Guest access The property is entirely separate from the main house on a very quiet country lane with working farm next door and parking opposite. The Old Boat Shed shares its semi private entrance hall with one other property that houses long term tenants. Parking is directly opposite next to the front garden. Guests are more than welcome to use the garden leading down to the river.
