We love this home and we hope you will as well, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, breathtaking views of the wetlands, where sightings of graceful blue herons await you. Step into the spacious living area, where natural light floods the beautiful and bright open kitchen. The large yard surrounding the house provides a serene setting, great for relaxation and outdoor activities including a fantastic firepit. The space This beautiful house is located off the main road in the quaint fishing village of Saxis, VA. Sleeping options include king bed, queen bed, full size pull out couch in the office and 2 cots available in the master bedroom closet. Huge master bathroom attached to the master bedroom features beautiful natural lighting and enormous 2 person shower with rainfall showerhead. Topping it all off is the bidet toilet, if you have never experienced the warmth of a heated bidet seat and jets, you are in for a treat. The kitchen is a chef's delight, fully set up with everything you might need for those who like to cook while they are away including a full assortment of spices and basic cooking needs. So much to do in the area as well as great access to so much the Eastern shore has to offer. Looking for a quiet alternative to the business of Ocean City and Chincoteague this is it!! Go to the town dock and view the fishing, crabbing and oyster boats coming in. Fish and crab from the town fishing pier. Visit the Saxis museum just up the street and look for sea glass at the small town beaches. Bring your own kayaks and bikes. Kayaks can be easily dropped in the water from the public boat ramp. Have your own boat bring it. Tons of parking in the lot to park it and the public boat ramp is 2 mins up the street. Wander or fish the Pocomoke Sound or take a day trip to Smith Island or Tangier. The town features Captain E's Hurricane Bar and Grill (a reminder of the fun places to eat in Key West). Enjoy fantastic sea food and other delicious bar food. Eat either inside or outside at their fun beach bar on the water. Delicious breakfasts and lunches can be found at Brenda's Dock on the Bay Cafe. Both restaurants just up the street. Want to get to the beaches of the Atlantic head on over to Chincoteague just a short 30 min ride. Get a glimpse of the famous Assateague Horses in the park, visit NASA's Wallops visitor center and if your really lucky time it for a rocket launch and view the launch from Wallops! We keep 3 bicycles in the shed for guest use for riding around town. Additionally, there are 2 boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and wind breakers for borrowing and taking to the beach. We just ask you to please return everything to where you found it. There is a bike pump as well if the tires feel low on the bikes. Finally, be sure if you have a good clear night and there are plenty of them, to head to the town fishing pier for the sunset, bring some snacks and a drink for one of the most spectacular shows! Other things to note There is a public boat ramp at the marina and plenty of space to park your boat at the home so this is a perfect home if you want to explore the Pocomoke sound from the comfort of your own boat.
