Description
Cozy and bright beach house, steps from the ocean, in the quaint, quiet and family-oriented Village of Saltaire on Fire Island. Available weekly or monthly, the cottage features a large, light and open living / dining / kitchen area, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and wrap-around deck with outdoor shower and BBQ. Walk a few feet to the ocean or bike to the bay. Use the wagon for groceries. The cabin is stocked with everything you might need, including bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels etc The space Perfect for a family! The floors are hardwood and the house is bright and cheerful. The kitchen is well-stocked and features a large island for chatting with the chef or enjoying a meal. All the bedrooms and the entire living area have split-system A/C units. On cool breezy days, enjoy the circulating air of the ceiling fans in every room. Cross-breezes flow through the open living area. Two of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds. One queen bedroom has an en-suite powder room w/ direct access to the side deck and laundry machines. The other queen bedroom has sliding glass doors to the back deck. For the kids there is a bedroom with a bunk and a single bed. There is a shower and small tub in the shared full bath. Guest access The Village of Saltaire does not allow cars. You will arrive by ferry and walk or ride bikes (some included) to get around. The house also has a push wagon available to transport luggage from the dock or groceries from the store. Other things to note 2 week minimum stay in July and August through Labor Day is required by the Village, with turnovers usually occurring on Sundays. 1 week minimum stay in June. Please note that the Suffolk County, NY 3% Occupancy Tax will be collected on arrival date. Upon booking, we will email you our rental agreement to review and sign.
