Relax & unwind in this light & airy space. The Meadows is set in a secluded & sunny spot with own driveway, with views of sheep fields opposite. There are French doors from the bedroom & lounge onto the large secluded patio with table, chairs & lounger. It’s a 10 minute drive to Lingfield racecourse. Gatwick 20 mins. Oxted high street is only an 8 min drive with choice of restaurants, Cafés, boutiques, mini Waitrose, Everyman cinema, Oxted festival & mainline station to (London Bridge 28mins) The space The Meadows is a private, light & spacious self contained Annexe joined to our family home in a semi rural spot on the outskirts of Oxted & Lingfield. The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens, with access to great countryside walking, wildlife & pubs, yet junction 6 of the M25 motorway, Lingfield & Oxted mainline stations (London Bridge 28mins) are all within an 8 min drive. Gatwick & The stunning Hever castle & gardens are only 20mins. There are several National trust properties close by incl Standen house, Chartwell, Knole, Ightham mote, Nymans, Emmetts & Polesden Lacey to name a few. The seaside town of Brighton with its vast array of eclectic shops, cafes, restaurants, Royal pavilion, Aquarium & the infamous pier is only a 35 mins drive. Oxted town has a lot to offer with boutique style shops, various & very popular restaurants, cafes, mini Waitrose & the unique Everyman cinema, along with the infamous summertime Oxted festival. Guest access ‘ Meadows’ annexe has its own drive/parking for 2-3 cars behind the big laurel hedge, then a wooden gate leads to the patio & There is a key safe to the left of the front door. Please kindly always leave the key in the safe. The patios are for your sole use, you are very welcome to use the lawn & seating nooks immediately in front of the patios, we don’t use this garden at all, but do have to ‘Garden’ it. Other things to note We are located next to sheep fields, there are dogs around but the Meadows garden is securely fenced/gated where dogs aren’t allowed. Please keep the gate closed.
