Sebago Lake WATERFRONT! This camp offers more than just stunning views of the lake, beautiful morning sunrises, and a gentle summer breeze. It's a place where you can create lifelong memories with friends, family, and guests. Nestled in the sought-after Wards Cove community on the west side of the lake, the property boasts 50 feet of private lake frontage along with access to over 300 feet of shared sandy association beach. It’s the perfect spot for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and exploration. The space Welcome to our renovated 1936 camp! We’ve made every effort to preserve its historic charm and rustic style. OUTDOOR AMENITIES: * The property features a dock for boat access and a mooring. You’re welcome to bring your boat—just let us know in advance how you plan to bring it so we can help arrange parking for both the boat and its trailer. We’ll do our best to ensure everything is ready for your arrival! * Enjoy swimming, kayaking, and fishing from the dock. Kayaks and life vests (two single kayaks) are included. * Relax on the spacious wraparound upper deck with a gas grill. * A private sandy beach is just a short walk from the house. * Head down to the lower deck for sunbathing, swimming, or enjoying a fire pit. INDOOR FEATURES: * The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area is fully equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, smart TV, air conditioning, and more. Kitchen essentials like pots, pans, silverware, and plates are provided—just bring your own food and favorite condiments. * Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and air conditioning, come with all linens and bath towels (please bring your own beach towels). * The living room offers additional sleeping space with a sleeper sofa, futon, and twin bed with trundle. Let us know if you need extra bedding. The main living room also has a TV with basic cable, a smart remote for Netflix, and internet access. IMPORTANT NOTES: * Drinking Water: The house draws water from Sebago Lake. While it's safe for non-drinking use, we recommend not drinking it. A 5-gallon water cooler will be provided. * Air Conditioning: The home has three portable AC units. Please turn them off when leaving to prevent overflow in the condensate tank. * Starter Supplies: We provide basic essentials like trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper for up to three days. Guests are responsible for replenishing items as needed beyond that time. * Septic Tank: Please use single-ply toilet paper (such as Scott's 1,000 sheets) to avoid clogging. * Accessibility: The property is not wheelchair accessible. POLICIES AND RULES: * No smoking, events, or large gatherings. * Quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM. * No fireworks on the property. * Maximum of 6 overnight guests. * Minimum rental age is 26. * Parking is limited to two cars in the driveway. * We allow one dog per stay. Please read the pet policy below and notify us in advance if you plan to bring your dog. GUEST ACCESS: * Self-check-in via access code. * Parking is available for two vehicles on the lawn in front of the house. Please inform us if you require an additional parking space. SAFETY: * Life jackets are required by Maine law for anyone on watercraft. Children 10 and under must wear life jackets at all times on the water. * Outdoor security cameras are on-site, monitoring only outdoor areas and the driveway. * Smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, gas detectors, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit are provided for your safety. ADDITIONAL FEES: * Dog fee: $50 per stay. * Cleaning fee: $200. PET POLICY: Pets are not allowed on the furniture, including couches, beds, and chairs. This rule is stated in the listing and house rules. Please bring a pet blanket, bed, or crate to keep your dog comfortable during your stay. The pet fee covers basic cleaning (floors only). If pet hair is found on furniture, our cleaning service may charge an additional fee. LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS: * 35 minutes to Portland. * 30 minutes to Cornish, known for local craft stores, antique shops, and scenic views. * 15 minutes to Douglas Mountain and several other hiking trails. * 25 minutes to the historic town of Naples, with its beautiful lakes and ponds. * Nearby beaches, parks, restaurants, breweries, and bike trails. Note: We typically don’t offer weekend bookings during the summer, but feel free to reach out if you have special scheduling requests, and we’ll do our best to accommodate! Other things to note We will reach out prior to your rental to ensure your wishes regarding: - using our bedding vs yours - we provide all sheets and towels. - please bring your own beach towels. In the event of a power outage, please note that the house will temporarily lose water access, as it draws lake water through an electric pump. Power is usually restored quickly, but we wanted you to be aware. Since our camp is located right on the water, you can always access lake water manually if needed.
