Everfree Shire Ranch is an 11 Acre Estate and a wonderful oasis for travelers, wanderers, and the displaced who are seeking an economic alternative to regular campgrounds and parks. Old Campers: Welcome back! There are many changes being made and more to come! Arwen the Elven Princess is your site's mascot. The water hookup is the approximate center of your site. There is a bathroom / laundry combo that is shared with house residents which you may use. If you bring your own shower or outhouse tent / solution, that's fine. There is standard electricity with a hose compatible spout. Please only use the assigned water source. Amperage adapters are not allowed because they trip the breaker. When using the shower stall, please wear minimum swimsuit or similar attire. The bathroom / laundry area on the side of the house is shared with the house guests, but available for use. Pets must be on a leash / penned for safety. Please be aware that this is Texas and as such the shrubbery here may be spikey in some places. Please bear that in mind if you have pets and seriously consider protective footwear. Other guests have reported grass burrs even in the winter. If you are towing a vehicle and cannot fit it on your site, please ask about overflow parking. Guest access The picnic table is a common area and due to it being for shared use, I please ask that you don't move it unless we're not very busy and you agree to move it back before checking out. If you need your own table, please ask. Availability is limited, but there are at least 2 other outdoor tables and several folding tables available. Shower stall water temp depends on the weather. Minimum swimwear type attire is required with shoes / flipflops, crocs, etc. The bathroom / laundry area on the side of the house is shared with the house guests, but available for use. Other things to note Please ask if you need a table, chairs, grill etc. Availability may vary. Generators are allowed, but please have them off by 10 PM if possible. All trash must be bagged in 13 gallon bags or above. If you would like a bin or bags / lining please just ask. Interaction with horses is at your own risk. They're usually friendly, but it is not recommended you walk into their area without an introduction at least. There's no HOA here, but please keep the appearance of your area tidy. No excessive junk piles or scrap heaps please. If you have a pile of stuff in a flat-bed, that's fine. Please be aware, this is Texas and the wildlife here is no joke. There is a small but real danger of snakes, scorpions, even coyotes. However there are also road-runners, deer, red cardinals, owls, and more harmless nature in greater abundance. HEAT STROKE in the Texas summer is a very real thing and people from out of state might not be expecting it! When temperature are high for most of the day, please, stay hydrated! Don't forget suntan lotion. Stay in the shade! Feel free to wear a wide brimmed hat! This is Texas, that is acceptable summer wear here for a good reason.
