Description

Welcome to your perfect mountain retreat, just minutes from the lifts! Our charming cabin in Snoqualmie Pass offers a peaceful getaway nestled among the picturesque Cascades of Washington state. Great for outdoor enthusiasts, this spacious cabin provides easy access to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, snowshoeing and other outdoor activities. Whether you're out and about or seeking a serene nature retreat, this is the perfect choice for a memorable getaway with family or friends. The space This charming cabin has 4 beds and 2 baths, comfortably accommodating up to 7 guests. It's ideal for families or groups of friends. Upstairs: Bedroom 1: King Bed & Balcony, Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, Bathroom 1: with standing shower Main Floor: Bedroom 3: Twin Bed, Bathroom 2: Large Bathroom with bathtub and washer/dryer Downstairs: Bedroom 4: King Bed in an open-plan living area & workspace Living Spaces: On the main floor, relax by the wood-burning fireplace, watch movies on the Roku TV, play board games, or listen to records. The floors are tile, so we recommend bringing slippers in the winter months for an even cozier stay. Don’t worry, we have a few if you forget. Downstairs offers a second living space with a couch, TV, propane stove, a sit/stand desk with two monitors as well as a king-sized bed. There is also a separate entryway that leads you outside to the backyard and to extra firewood. *Please note* this space does not have a door at the top of the stairs, but it is a quiet and separate space that provides nice privacy. The king bed is also a bit higher than standard beds, therefore those with mobility challenges may find it difficult to get in and out of this bed. Kitchen and Dining: The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals after a day of adventure. Along with essential appliances and cookware, we offer a drip coffee machine, French press, coffee grinder for your whole beans, hot water kettle, crock pot, blender, and pantry staples. The outdoor gas BBQ grill makes it convenient to cook outside. Wi-Fi and Entertainment Options: The cabin has high-speed internet with two Roku TVs for streaming your favorite movies and shows. There's also a sit/stand desk with two monitors for those who need to work. We recommend bringing your own docking station, as we can't guarantee compatibility with all laptop models, and we're unable to offer IT support for connectivity issues. Outdoor Space: Enjoy the spacious deck on the main floor, equipped with a propane grill surrounded by tall evergreens. You also have access to the backyard. If you bring your dog, please be considerate of other guests and clean up after them. Additionally, since we are in the mountains where wildlife is abundant, please keep your dogs on a leash. The backyard is not fenced. Location Highlights: The cabin is conveniently located near multiple ski areas. Here are the distances from the cabin to the main ski resorts: - Hyak/Summit East: 2 mins drive / 10 mins walk - Silver Fir: 3 mins drive / 20 mins walk / 5 min bike ride (mountain bike park lift) - Summit Central: 4 mins drive / 36 mins walk - Summit West: 7 min drive - Alpental: 10 min drive Year-Round Activities: The cabin is surrounded by hiking trails and outdoor adventure opportunities. Nearby, you can explore waterfalls, lakes, and more. Check the guest book for recommendations on local attractions. Pets: We love dogs, and if you are requesting to bring yours, we know you do too! Just let us know and we will provide bowls, and dog specific towels to wipe them dry if it’s raining or snowing. We also know that it can be hard to keep your furry friend off the furniture, but we ask that if they prefer to lounge with you, please make sure to add one of the blankets we have provided on the couches and beds. (There is a small fee for additional cleaning, so please make sure to include your pup in your reservation.) Babies: We are parents, so we are well aware of how many things babies need, even for a simple trip! Therefore, we have a few items available for an additional fee if you would like to travel light(er). Upon request, we can provide a pack-and-play crib and sheet, slumber pod (blackout tent), hatch sound machine, activity center, highchair, foam mat, and a selection of toys and books suitable for young children. If you have any specific requests, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that while we offer these items, we do not consider our cabin to be 'baby proof'. House Rules: No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. No parties or events of any kind Check-in after 3 PM, Check-out by 11 AM We look forward to hosting you at our cabin in Snoqualmie Pass, WA! If you have any questions or special requests, please don't hesitate to contact us. Your perfect mountain getaway awaits! Guest access We have a smart lock for entry and guests have access to the whole property. Other things to note **Important ** Snoqualmie Pass is quite far from major grocery stores. While there are some nearby stores, they are limited in selection and tend to be more expensive. We recommend stocking up on essentials before you arrive to ensure you have everything you need during your stay. This will help you enjoy your time in the mountains without the inconvenience of long trips for supplies. Our parking pad accommodates 3-4 cars. There are restrictions on-street parking in the Hyak community that may result in a $200 fine. Overflow parking can be found in the Hyak Lower Lot on Keechelus Drive. We love when it snows! But during winter months the roads can be slippery. It is advised that you either have an AWD/4WD car or bring chains with you. Our local road gets plowed by the county, and we have a service snow-blow our parking pad, but there may be times when there is still snow/ice on the ground. If you are staying during snow, you'll frequently see up to a foot of build up before the crew comes and cleans. We do have a shovel in case you need to do some extra shoveling in between snow fall. We love dogs, and your furry friends are welcome to stay with you at the cabin. However, for their safety and the safety of residents, all pets must be kept on a leash when outside. This might not seem intuitive because "it's the mountain," but many folks live here full-time and there are lots of people out walking. No matter how well-behaved your dog is, it probably won't be able to resist the neighbor's pet bunny that is frequently outside! :)
