We are situated in the beautiful Scottish Highlands Close to the A9, between the towns of Alness and Invergordon. Both towns have restaurants, take- a- ways, swimming pools, golf courses and many areas to walk. Inverness- the capital of the Highlands- is a mere 25 min drive away, with a host of activities available. Have a cruise along the Caledonian canal to the world famous Loch Ness in search of the elusive Nessie. Visit the beautiful Ness Islands, the list is endless. Head 25 minutes north to Dornoch and enjoy its beautiful facilities including an award winning beach and golf course. Dunrobbin Castle at Golspie is a must see for all. For whisky loving folk, distilleries are everywhere with most providing tours. Our location is perfect for day trips taking In parts of the world famous NC 500 with its stunning scenery. The smiddy Pod is comfortable and spacious and we advertise it perfect for 2. It is open plan design with double bed. a sofa bed is also inside (with bedding) which would be suitable for a child. The kitchen is fully equipped, kettle,microwave, fridge,toaster, air fryer, oven and hob. We have complimentary WI- FI and a TV. There is an outdoor area with table and seats. We regret we do not accept pets.
