The space Welcome to the former Post Masters House, a beautifully renovated 1900s home full of character. This spacious property retains original Victorian features, including ornate plasterwork, colourful tiled entrance, high ceilings, and large double-glazed sash windows, all blended with modern comfort and style. The open-plan double aspect living, dining and kitchen space is perfect for families or groups, with dining for 8 and double doors leading to a sunny courtyard garden featuring child-friendly Astroturf and a BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and coffee-making facilities for your convenience. The ground floor also includes an accessible king-size bedroom and a shower room. Upstairs, you'll find two double bedrooms, a bunk room (suitable for adults), and a family bathroom with a roll-top bath and shower. All bedrooms feature comfortable mattresses, hotel-quality linens, and large bath sheets. We also provide quality toiletries for your stay. Centrally located near Station Approach, you're steps from Frome’s vibrant food and drink scene with live music and local events. Just minutes away, stroll through Rodden Meadow into the heart of Frome’s independent shops, cafes, and restaurants. Guest access The whole house is yours to use with no restrictions. Parking is free along Victoria Rd, there are usually spaces reasonably close to the house but unfortunately there is no dedicated parking. There are a few steps up into the property and down into the courtyard garden. There is an accessible bedroom on the ground floor with shower room next to it. Other things to note The fire place in the living room is decorative only and does not function. Please note that there is a potential for road noise during the daytime, being central Frome, it is much quieter at night. To combat all rooms, have triple-interlined curtains and double-glazing—earplugs provided for the lighter sleepers. As you can see from reviews this is usually not a concern for our guests but we do respectfully request that you note this before booking We do have quiet hours between 10pm and 7am in respect of our neighbours so respectfully request that general noise levels are kept to a minimum after 10pm. Check in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am. Early/late check-in/outs are available on request for a small fee. We can provide a travel cot and high-chair on request.
