Logis "Guenièvre" is on the 1st floor of a building from 1732, completely restored. In the historic center of Avallon, this special place is close to everything, such as the Clock Tower, the tourist office, the Collegiate Church of Saint Lazare, the museum, and 50 m from the ramparts, making it easy to plan your visit. You can also walk to the bakery or restaurants such as Dame Jeanne, Cuisine Angeline and many others in 2 minutes. The space Guenièvre is a 17th century apartment, restored with respect for the building. With 3.68 m French ceiling height and its period floor tiles, gray stone fireplace and preserved antique decor, we insulated the walls with lime, installed bathrooms that did not exist, as well as a kitchenette. The exterior woodwork is new and so is the heating installation. The bedroom is equipped with 160 x 200 cm bedding, a wardrobe and access to the terrace. In peak season July and August, the street may be lively because of tourists. Other things to note The Logis de la Vachère is located in the historic district, the streets are pedestrianized on weekends from June to September and a concert is held in the street once a month. For parking, public parking is available all year round 100 m away, next to the tourist office.
