Your perfect retreat in the Emmental valley. Here you can relax in an idyllic atmosphere and a lovingly designed environment and immerse yourself in the wonderful natural landscape of the Napf area. We offer a rustic barn with a bedroom, personal lounge with dining table, sitting area, kitchenette as well as terrace, balconies and garden. Dishwashing area, separate sink and toilet are located in the outdoor area. The shower is freely accessible in the nearby farmhouse. The space The rustic Spycher Seltenbach is located at 1000 m above sea level. and offers a unique experience. Here, nature is close to you. We have chosen the furnishings to be simple and functional. You will find lots of wood and other natural materials. The toilet and laundry area are located a few steps from the Spycher in the outdoor area. The shower with hot water is located in the nearby farmhouse. Guest access Bedroom s: On the first floor of the Spycher, there is a bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers, secretary, armchair, large mirror and wardrobe. In cooler temperatures, the room can be heated with an electric stove. Both doors lead directly to the balcony with beautiful views. Lounge: On the ground floor is the spacious lounge. Here you will find a dining table and a sofa with two armchairs. In the kitchen corner, there are two mobile hotplates and a fridge with a freezer compartment. In the cupboard and in the drawers are the dishes, pans and cutlery as well as other useful kitchen utensils. This room can also be heated with an electric heater. In addition, the balcony, terrace and spacious garden with several seating options are at your disposal. There is also a fire pit with a grill. Toilet with flushing, sink (cold water) are outside (farmhouse). Right next to it is the dishwashing area (cold water). The shower (hot water) is located further up in the nearby farmhouse. Towels are available both at the sink downstairs and in the shower. At times, you will share the bathrooms with other guests. The lounge, bedroom, terrace and balcony are only available to you. Other things to note On request, we provide a wooden cot (CHF 15) and a high chair (free) at the dining table. We offer breakfast (CHF 22.00 per person) on request. Please order when booking. Unless otherwise agreed, we will provide breakfast between 6:00 and 7:00 in the downstairs lounge (refrigerator and oval table) and set the table. Upon request, our guests can try our sheep's milk (1/4 l). We are happy to take back the glass bottle. If you want to buy sheep's milk, the liter costs CHF 3.00) If you want to make a fire in the garden, you can get a basket of firewood from us for CHF 8.00. Firelighters and matches are included. We are happy to offer you a tour of our farm. You are welcome to watch or help with the milking in the morning (approx. 6:15 am - 7:15 am) and in the evening (approx. 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm) watch or help with milking. Boots in different sizes are at your disposal. In our garden there are various herbs, berries, salads, etc., depending on the season. We are happy to sell you our vegetables for a low price. You can book the Spycher Seltenbach from May to September.
