Les Volets Verts Gîte with private swimming pool and hot tub

Our detached gîte with private swimming pool (heated) and wood-fired hot tub is located in the rural village of Braux in beautiful Burgundy. It is very quiet and has a spacious garden that offers you a beautiful view over the rolling hills. You have the cottage, garden and pool all to yourself. You have optimal privacy at the pool! An ideal place for peace seekers and nature lovers. All amenities are within a 12-minute drive. The space Through the front door you enter the cozy living room. Here you will find a comfortable seating area and a cozy wood-burning stove for the colder days. (wood for the wood-burning stove included in the price) There is an HD smart TV with apps such as Netflix and NL Ziet. The whole house is equipped with air conditioning that can also serve as heating in winter. In the living room, a separate corner has been made in the former fromagerie, which now serves as a workplace. (Fiber optic internet available) Adjacent to the living room is the bathroom with sink, toilet and shower with rain shower. There is also a towel radiator. From the living room, you can walk straight into the adjoining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of tableware and cooking utensils. There is a refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, a convection oven, dishwasher, 4-burner gas stove, toaster, kettle, Senseo machine and filter coffee machine. Via the stairs in the living room, you reach the mezzanine where there is a double sofa bed. (1.60m x 2.00m) Adjacent is the separate bedroom with comfortable double bed (1.40m x 2.00m). The mezzanine and bedroom have a Velux skylight with electric shutters. Through the kitchen door, you can reach the spacious sunny terrace with dining table. There is also a gas BBQ available. Via a small staircase you reach the lower terrace with private swimming pool. (6x3m, heated) There are sun loungers, beanbags and a large floating parasol. The pool has a jet stream that allows you to swim against the current. Through another small staircase, you reach the somewhat higher garden where the hot tub is located. From the wood-fired hot tub, you can enjoy the beautiful view over the hills and in the evening of the beautiful starry sky! In the basement at street level, you will find the washing machine, iron and drying rack. Guest access You have access to the entire cottage, garden and swimming pool. Privacy guaranteed! Other things to note The stairs in and around the house make the accommodation less suitable for people with difficulty walking. The heated swimming pool can be used from May to September, depending on the weather conditions. The hot tub can be used all year round. (with the exception of very dry periods in the summer) A surcharge of €50 will be charged for the use of the hot tub.
