On the 1st floor of a Nordic chalet occupied on the ground floor by the hosts, its beautiful ceiling height as well as its many windows bring it an extraordinary brightness. Ideal teleworking space with stunning views of Lake Geneva and the mountains. The space The space This apartment is ideally located at the end of a private road, so no traffic. Its location is ideal, just 15 minutes by car and 23 minutes by train + 10 minutes walk from the center of Montreux. The area is renowned for its mild microclimate and Jazz Festival, which takes place in July. In summer, after a hot day in the valley, you will enjoy the freshness at an altitude of 1100 m. The apartment includes a large living/dining room with a pellet stove, a flat-screen TV with an Xbox offering many channels and Netflix for free. A luxurious leather sofa and armchair will allow you to relax comfortably. A modern kitchen, fully equipped with all the usual utensils is available to guests, including a capsule coffee machine. A large bedroom with a very comfortable queen size bed overlooking the forest and the Prealps. Very large closets will make you feel at home. An original private bathroom with toilet and shower provides linen, shower products and a hairdryer. A first aid kit is also available. Ideal for teleworking, a mezzanine with exceptional views of the lake and the Prealps can be used as a relaxation area with a 2nd bed or ideally as an office for budding writers. Fast Wi-Fi (110 Mbps verified) is also available free of charge. A beautiful outdoor terrace with sun loungers is available for a relaxing time in the sun. A ping-pong table with rackets, archery and various games, darts, etc. are available free of charge (with good care) A barbecue can also be provided (subject to conditions) Free parking is available in front of the owners' garage. Options For a stay, the hosts are happy to offer you attractive options to negotiate on site, such as boat trips with a pilot on Lake Geneva, bike rentals, private Pilates classes. Guest access As a matter of principle, we welcome you upon arrival. In case of absence on our part or late arrival, a numbered lockbox is available at the entrance to your accommodation. Free parking is available in front of the owners' garage. For guests coming by train (Montreux-Rochers de Naye), stop at Haut-de-Caux. The apartment is 800 m from the train station (13 min. walk) Upon request, we will gladly pick you up. For travelers coming by car, exit Montreux highway, then Glion and Caux. The property has private outdoor parking. Please park your vehicle at the back of the courtyard in such a way as not to block the owners of the covered garages
