Private studio at the heart of Rennes
Description
Small, comfortable studio in the heart of the historic center. Ideally located for exploring the city, a stone's throw from Quai Duguay Trouin. - République metro station 200m: Line A takes you to the main railway station in less than 5 min. - Rennes train station 1.6km - Lices market - Saturday mornings 350m - Place du Parlement 550m - City Hall 250m You'll find plenty of bars, restaurants and shops close by, it's a delightful area truly at the heart of the city. The space The accommodation is a 24m² studio on the 2nd floor of an 18th century building with a restaurant/bar on the ground floor. The studio is completely independent/private and I live adjacent, so when I'm at home, I'm there to answer any questions you might have. If you're not from Rennes or maybe not even from France, I can give you some tips on good places to eat and visit. The studio consists of a kitchenette/diner opening onto the bedroom/living room, and of course there's a shower room with shower cubicle, WC and washbasin. There is a double bed, with linen provided. The kitchen is fitted with cupboards and equipped with a double ceramic hob, a fridge with freezer compartment and a microwave. On arrival, the bed will be made up and you will be provided with towels. Guest access The studio is independent and you won't be sharing any of the space with other people. It is located on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator and the staircase is in its original state with irregular steps so you need to be pretty mobile to get up to the flat. The apartment is located in an experimental Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) in the historic center. The public car parks nearby have spaces, but you'll need to pay 30/40 euros for 24 hours. During your stay Expect to hear the noise of the streets - you really are in the midst of a dynamic city. The location is superb for anyone wishing to discover the many pleasures of Rennes, the culture, the shopping, the restaurants, the music - it's all at your doorstep, but it's not a place for a quiet stay. I love the city of Rennes and would be happy to exchange information with you if you need advice on how to make the most of your stay. Other things to note I'd love you to enjoy your stay, if there's something which is important to you and not already covered in the info here, please don't hesitate to ask me. The studio is a separate part of my permanent residence, so it is part of "my home", but it is independent, with its own "front door", and nothing is shared.
