Located just 1 mile from Roosevelt, Texas, our peaceful retreat offers private access to the North Llano River, perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the water. Surrounded by wide-open skies and scenic Hill Country views, you'll enjoy peaceful mornings with birdsong, evenings beneath towering pecan trees, and unforgettable sunsets followed by spectacular stargazing. Spend your days exploring the outdoors, playing cornhole, grilling on the charcoal BBQ or Traeger smoker, or gathering around the fire pit to make s'mores and lasting memories. Inside, you'll find all the comforts of home, including updated appliances, air conditioning, heating, a well-equipped kitchenette, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Looking for adventure? Guided hog, Whitetail, and Axis deer hunts are available by special arrangement with the owner. All hunters must possess a valid Texas hunting license. Guest access Guests staying in Cabin Unit 1 have private access to their cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath cabin with a kitchenette, along with shared access to the property's outdoor amenities. Relax on the front porch, grill your favorite meal on the charcoal grill or Traeger smoker, enjoy a game of cornhole, or unwind beneath the shade of the beautiful pecan trees. The North Llano River is easily accessible from the property. A road leads down to the river, and you're welcome to walk or drive it. Once there, explore either direction to find a spot to swim, fish, kayak, skip rocks, or simply sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Whether you're sipping coffee while watching the sunrise, spending the afternoon by the river, or ending the day around the fire pit under a sky full of stars, Roosevelt River Cabins is the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and experience the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Please Note: A valid Texas fishing license is required for fishing. Guided hog, Axis, and Whitetail deer hunts are available by advance arrangement with the owner. Please respect property boundaries while enjoying the river and surrounding areas. Other things to note We want your stay at Roosevelt River Cabins to be relaxing, comfortable, and worry-free. Here are a few helpful details to make your visit even more enjoyable: • Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, so everyone can enjoy the peaceful Hill Country atmosphere. • Pets: We happily welcome up to two dogs per cabin. If your dogs are left unattended, please keep them safely kenneled. • Parking: Please park on the gravel driveway or concrete parking area only to help preserve the property. • Wildlife: Our cabins are located in the Texas Hill Country, where you may see deer, birds, and other native wildlife. As with any rural property, please be aware of snakes, spiders, and scorpions while exploring outdoors. • Fire Pit & Grills: Enjoy the fire pit, charcoal grill, and Traeger smoker during your stay. For everyone's safety, never leave a fire unattended and always make sure it is completely extinguished when you're finished. • Weather: During freezing temperatures, we may ask you to leave a faucet dripping to help protect our well water system. During periods of heavy rain, the river can rise quickly, so we'll monitor conditions and notify guests if there are any safety concerns. • Fishing & Hunting: Guests are welcome to fish or hunt with the appropriate Texas Parks and Wildlife license.
